Floyd Mayweather to announce next fight soon.

To you and everyone else who says that Mayweather is ducking Pac because he doesn't want a loss......If (and it's a big if) he fights Paul Williams that is a much bigger risk of a loss than Pacman.....actually Pacman or PBF taking on Williams is a probable losss for both guys.

 

Im excited if this news is true!!! Im ready to see Floyd get back into the ring and beat somebody else ass plus that means Fight night Parties because when Floyd fights its like the SuperBowl!!!!

 

Damn. People at Dubai are gonna get a very boring fight unless someone forces Floyd to fight. Considering it will be a can, it won't happen. Not good for boxing worldwide.

 

By round two half the people will be leaving to watch some camels racing or watch some oil drilling.

They better get their money from Dubai all up front and not in payments. Everyone thinks they got mad money but their real estate market bombed down the shitter and theres half finished sky scrapers all over the place deserted.

King is going to have all kinds of little clauses and **** in his contracts, floyd isnt going to get what he is promised. Having it over in another country makes it more complicated and King will use that to his advantage to get more money for him and less for Floyd.


I dont see how the fight can make more money in Dubai than Vegas, vegas are where all the fight fans are at or go to, dubai has no interest in boxing, they want it entirely to promote their city and keep their name in the minds of the world, its throw away money for them to basically advertise their city as the number one tourist destination, but being that I cant see there being more ticket sales and PPV numbers from having it there over vegas and at the same time promising to pay the fighters and promoters more money, something has to give somewhere.

No doubt....I'mma ride or die for what I believe. But you are right there in that same boat! Manny is millions behind floyd in what he makes only b/c Floyd cuts out the middle man. he pockets most of the money he makes where Manny dishes out about half. For that I give Floyd props but in terms of him gettin more people to go out and watch his fights or to buy them on PPV Manny is right there with him....just a tad lower simply b/c Manny isn't a US born fighter. Which is even more telling b/c Floyd really shouldn't have someone like PAC nippin at his heals in PPV buys or getting folks out of the house and to one of his fights.

 

Amir Khan makes the most sense from a monetary standpoint. Dubai is close to the UK and big tourist destination for Brits. UAE is a muslim country, so they would get behind Khan.
