Then why have you bothered making numerous posts on the matter?

It is the after tax that matters.

By fighting in Vegas, tax rate is 39.6%.
Floyd is expected to earn $41M + PPV upside. Let's just say he makes $45M all in as an example. Taxed at 39.6%, his after tax take is $27M.

Manny is fighting in Macau with 12% tax rate and expected to earn $22M + PPV upside. Assuming similar PPV upside, his after tax of $26M is $23M.

$27M earned by mayweather vs $23M earned by Pacquiao. Of course there's some payouts involved to Top Rank and Golden Boy (even with Mayweather's fake promotional company, he still has to pay a flat fee to GBP) but the difference is not that big as the *****s like to point out as you can see in the numbers above.

And consider these guys don't get one big check. I remember hearing in 2011 Floyd was still getting checks from the de la Hoya fight. PAC has been more active also.

In the end who cares? We don't get paid. If money makes Floyd take bigger risks and showtime pressures him to sign big fights then that's good for boxing

You're right. Why not discuss...which fight will be more entertaining ?

Floyd v Canelo or Pac v Rios ?

I'm assuming this is your source
    http://www.forbes.com/pictures/mli45mmlg/14-manny-pacquiao-4/

the timespan Forbes uses isn't a calendar year. So it isn't January 1st to December 31st of 2012. In the timespan they used, Mayweather fought Guerrero and earned 34 million dollars.

Pacquiao got 26 million plus 8 million from endorsements equaling Pacquiao, so you're correct that they made the same amount in that timespan. But if you mean in 2012.

This was just a misunderstanding. They listed Floyd making 85 million in the year before that with the Ortiz and Cotto fights added together compared to Pacquiao's 62 million in another article. I thought you were talking about that one at first

Nah......Pac isnt struggling for money. ......nor does he need business advice from Floyd. He's not exactly a business man.....just an exceptional prize fighter. Plus. ....Manny doesn't go by a nick name like "Money" or "cash" or "Chedda".....the stance he took was based on principle....he wasn't willing to let Floyd dictate and disrespect him when Pac was equally as relevant and a draw. Since the losses. ......pac been willing to give Floyd the lions share but Floyd didn't want the fight with Pac then.....he doesn't want it now.

Void will not make 41.5 mil after taxes! He should have fought in Macau, he would have made much more money, however, Void owns Vegas, he can't lose a decision there..............
