Floyd would beat a prime Gatti fairly easily and Gatti he faced that night was a walking punchbag way past his best. Its not even Floyds best performance in that time.

I'd just love it if Mayweather went to the trouble of having a warm up fight and talked big about fighting Pac only for Pac to retire on him.

It's pretty obvious that he doesn't fancy it..... he's had how long to take the fight? We'll just hear the usual about Pacquiao having a boss, taking PEDs and all the other bollocks.

Boring to watch, and an utter twat to boot. Hopefully the jury find him guilty and send him packing for a very long time :deal

There's at least ten more impressive dismantlings in the 2000's than that one.

    Trinidad vs Vargas
    Trinidad vs Joppy
    Hopkins vs Trinidad
    Hopkins vs Pavlik
    Marquez vs Diaz I
    Pacquiao vs Cotto
    Mosley vs Margarito
    Calzaghe vs Lacy
    Pacquaio vs Morales II

    etc etc

I could go on and on. Gatti was a punchbag by then..... as proven in his subsequent results, losing by KO to Baldomir and Gomez.

Umm...Beeston, Floyd 'ruined' Gatti, didn't you know?

The same man who went life and death with fringe contenders Ivan Robinson and Mickey Ward, Floyds display pisses all over say, B-Hop Vs Trinidad :deal

I actually wouldn't care THAT much about the weight. Stylistically Marquez will always off-set Pacquiao no matter what the weight is. Ideally it'd below 147, but i don't think it makes a HUGE difference like some people think.
