    Not really, he has a claim to be the best ever, a legitimate argument can be made.

    His arguement as the best ever is by far the most delusional arguement he's ever made

    Most of those world champions he beat wouldn't even be contenders in the era's Ali and Leaonard fought in

    His 19 yrs of cherry picking with a 2 yr hiatus for no reason also tarnishes his legacy

    Ali beat every top HW there was to beat be it punchers boxers you name them he never used excuses or said well this guy has this guy problems etc ...

    He is truly the greatest certified in the ring not self proclaimed like Mayweather

    And lastly his live gates don't mean **** to boxing fans all they care about is memorable fights Ali's has a ton can the same be said about Floyd oh hell no !!

    I don't have a problem with him ranking himself but if you have to call yourself the best ever that just speaks volumes when most fans laugh at that notion !

    Because he went 48-0? Other fighters have done this.

    There can't be a legitimate argument made. Fighters used to fight back in the day and they should be commended for that with a ranking better than some guy who fights 48 times in his whole career.
