I'm usually a Floyd-hater but I hate hearing about greedy pieces of shits like Tommy Summers getting friends to work against each other for his own financial benefit. Not that Fiddy or Floyd are saints by any stretch but still.

First of all who said Floyd doesn't pay taxes? Nobody said that. Who said Haymon and GBP doesn't get paid when Floyd fights? I never said it so get it together. The question is how do they get paid? It is my understanding that GBP gets a flat fee for promoting the fight. That is very simple. Everyone gets paid but how?

Source Kevin Iole who knows more about boxing than you.

Golden Boy has promoted Mayweather's last six fights, though it had never signed Mayweather to a promotional deal. Mayweather's company, Mayweather Promotions, does not have a promoter's license.

quoting arum saying GBP don't make money off floyd? that's a credible source especially that arum and GBP has a beef.

Dude you must be drunk? If Floyd is not signed by GBP then how can they get a percentage of "HIS" money? He pays them a flat fee and that is simple business. My 6 yr old can understand that. Its the same as if a company pays a flat fee to hire a temp agency to get employees for them or a marketing firm to market something for you. If I hire a marketing firm to do something I would pay the a flat fee. I wouldn't pay them a percentage of my money that I earn based on the results of their marketing. :patsch

If Floyd wanted to he could go pay Don King or even Arum to promote one of his fights and pay them a flat fee as well. Everyone is getting paid and the only question is how do they get paid and where does it come from? That has been answered yet you still want to ask the question. LMAO

    :rofl

He just confirmed what everyone else has known for ages, GBP and Al Haymon make their money from deals they do with HBO e.t.c that has nothing to do with floyd. For example getting future tv dates for their fighters. This is something that has been spoke about for a long time. Arum simply confirmed it. There is no reason to lie about what GBP is doing. Where is Khan fighting now? SHOWTIME, Schafer has been using floyd name to get bigger deals for his fighters. It no secret that Schaffer wants floyd to go to Showtime, but floyd ain't budging.

there is no rule that you can't pay a commission or percentage basis even if you work on a per fight basis. haymon and oscar would be foolish to accept a term that gives them a fix fee for a fight that would generate an uncertain amount of money. floyd still gets his usual guarantee and upside from the last time i heard and GBP and haymon still control a large sum of the money.

so are you suggesting that haymon and GBP doesn't get even a single cent from floyd now?

keep believing that they are working for freebies.

You are Clueless. Floyd pays a flat fee to Golden Boy to promote his fights. Golden Boy have never signed Floyd to a promotional contract but since Floyd's Promotional company Mayweather Promotions doesn't have a promoter licence, Floyd pays Golden Boy a Flat fee to Promote his fights.
