Fight may never bloody happen, so lets see who you think would win this "fantasy" bout. :)

I may be going against the grain here, but I believe Mayweather is a bad style for Pac and would pot-shot his way to victory.

Conversely, you could say that Pac is a bad style for Mayweather, but I feel that Floyd would defuse a lot of that offence and keep him honest for large parts of the contest. At WW you couldn't say Mayweather is a KO artist or anything, but I believe he has enough sting in his counters to offset Pac's offensive arsenal for the 12 rounds.

    What think you?

Off the top of my head i think..

I always said after Cotto fight how Pacquiao was susceptible to the jab. I think Floyd would struggle early on with Pacquiao's activity he'd look shaky and look rattled but once he settled and started to time and find range he would start to land more and more and i think by the midway point he'd take over the fight and win well on points. The jab would be used as well as lead right hand.

Just feel Floyd would end up dictating pattern of fight and would land a few highlight reel right hands and look to close rounds out after a lil burst here and there.

I think the opening rounds would be exciting and fans would go wild as Pacquiao goes to work but once he starts getting hit Floyd starts to make him think twice and Floyd would make it a thinking battle and bit by bit he'd gain confidence.

To me Floyd fights scared early he shaky when up close and seems to not like it at all but once he starts landing with regularity he starts to land harder shots he starts to ooze confidence and i think he'd throw the odd body shot to suck life out of Pac.

A no risk display but a display that ends up limiting Pacquiao bit by bit to odds forte's but with holding and mauling to get ref to break them up i see Floyd winning 116-112UD.

I'd have to favor Pacquiao now as Mayweather seemingly doesn't have the bottle for the job. At all. That would affect his performance. If there is a hint of passive boxing ala Oscar De La Hoya fight he'd be in major trouble.

It's not a court hearing at all! I'm thinking a 116-112 type decision for Mayweather.

yeah, you can only watch a fighters tapes and learn so much, floyd learns them in the first few rounds then goes to work........

    hes a master at it......

i see floyd doing his little trick of dodging the straight right or left and countering with his fast right to take control of the fight, break mannys heart and run away with the fight from the 3rd onwards.

He'd never break Pacquiao's heart. He doesn't punch hard enough or often enough. He might outbox Pacquiao but it would always be competitive and the only heart that would ever be likely to be broken is Floyd's. He hasn't even got the heart to get in the ring let alone face up to adversity in this matchup.

When has Manny ever looked like having his heart broken as of late? Floyd, despite his speed and accuracy, will not be able to gain Pacs respect.

Even at half the output Pac will outwork him. Floyds jab and pot shorting will not be enough to dissuade Pac. Pac will walk the first few rounds (southpaw, Floyd o's a slow starter) and has the footspeed to continuously hassle Floyd, the engine to work for the full 12, and the angles to offset Floyds defence.

Pac is much more proven, and Floyd doesn't fight men of his calibre.

It's a no brainer for me, Floyd is massively overrated.

ive thought the same for a good while, yeah manny will fling any amount of shots, but floyd dont get hit and once manny starts getting crazy and trying to get in shots that he wouldnt normally go for then floyd will dictate the fight and manny wont know what to do......IMHO.
