I don't think Floyd wins at this stage; but I certainly wouldn't be surprised if he does pull it off.

One thing to remember in all of this: Pacquiao's only lost to one guy in recent years - Erik Morales. Who has Floyd fought that comes anywhere even close to Morales as a fighter?

What you have to remember is that the Pac victory was the only win for Morales in his last five fights before his first retirement.

Now Pac may have ruined Morales in the 1st fight (conjecture), but the facts state that he lost to Barerra before the 1st Pac fight, and lost to Raheem, Pac x 2, and David Diaz after the Pac fight.

I don't get your point here. The Morales who beat Pac is far greater than anyone Floyd has fought, anyway. That's what I was saying.

In any case, Pac has improved greatly.

What? That SFW Morales was better than:

    Diego Corrales at SFW
Jose Luis Castillo at LW (x2)
    De la Hoya at LMW
    Hatton at WW

Maybe he was. I wouldn't say its a definite though. Morales record at the weight is by no means stellar.

Not even close IMO. Mayweather is much better, at least as athletic with much greater ring smarts.
Pac been smartly matched IMO, to look like hes a monster beating these bigger guys, but they were all easy to hit, come forward, one dimensional fighters.
Id bet Pac has his lowest ever punch output v Floyd, as he just doesnt give you opportunities others do.

Bodyblaster, why doesn't Floyd take the fight then mate? If it's so easy. Seems like you're more confident then he is...:yep

Nowadays he gives loads of opportunities on the ropes and in other areas. His legs won't save him either vs. Pac.

But I can still see him winning.

Half-joking. PBF will nullify Pac's work, but it won't be as one sided as the Marquez fight.

Nah, forget any notion that they're trying to build it, that one went out of the window a long time ago. If anything it's been overcooked and lost a lot of steam as people have turned off from it. This fight ain't getting any bigger, i've already mentioned the real reason Floyd won't take it.

The only way this fight happens is if Pacquiao fades.
