It's clear as day, mate. Floyd doesn't fancy the job, fact!

I'm telling you the Mayweather's are in awe of Manny's performances. I know for a fact they picked him to get stopped in most of his recent fights. When they came out with the drug allegations they inadvertently admitted it, they basically payed Pacquiao the biggest compliment...think about it. They implied that he was so extraordinary in what he was doing that he MUST be on something.

Imagine how damaging confidence wise it is to Floyd when his father tells him, i don't want you fighting that man, you may get hurt...just think about that...This is the man who tought him how to fight, who knows his style inside and out.

Floyd knows he would have to go through unreal amounts of punishments and match Pacquiao's will to win and he would have to go to a place he hasn't gone and he's not sure he can do it. He studies him, he sees the freakish way he trains and insane pace he sets. He knows it ain't easy to transition from offense to defense as well as Pacquiao does. He knows it's not a piece of cake throwing a thousand plus punches a fight and not getting hit THAT much, that's why Floyd throws only about half of that in a fight.

Pacquiao has mastered attacking from different angles, it's like being swamped by a thausand wasps.

workrate is the key in this fight

both will cancel each other in speed but mayweather simply cannot expect to just potshot manny.

manny will be throwing 5-6 shots at a time and and at a speed that mayweather hasnt faced before , mayweather cant go to the ropes either as manny will out-punch him.

Mayweather has always been a little off against southpaws. Judah troubled him, even Corely managed to land.

But Pacquaio is so horrifically open to right hands (see both JMM fights) that it doesn't matter.

It is the Pacquaio camp that do not want this fight, Roach is no fool.

Mayweather is fearless and has a will to win to match any other. His conditioning is great enough that the pace Pacquaio would try and set would be no factor at all.

Mayweather points is winning by landslide on the poll. Cant really see any other outcome unless its stopped early due to a cut .

The poll means **** all though mucker ;-)

If the fight ever happens (it won't) Floyd will get a shellacking. He's just too
flawed. Pac has less flaws as per his style of choice.

Pretty boy wins on points. Pac has looked tremendous of late and virtually unstoppable. But that has been against come forward, easy to hit guys. The only person to give Pac trouble recently was JMM, a counter puncher. Mayweather is a harder to hit counter puncher that will make Pac miss with a lot of his shots IMO. while Pac will throw more, the classier work will come from Mayweather.

Of course the flip side is, Mayweather has problems with southpaws and Manny has a tremendous punch output, a granite chin and very good power, something which Mayweather hasn't experienced. He knows this, and knows fighting Manny is a massive risk which is why he is reluctant to fight him.

But on the night May will provide the classier work and outpoint Manny by a thin-ish decision.

Manny gets pulled up for only looking good against come-forward fighters, well what of Floyd then? He has never looked 'great' against anyone other than straight-on, come-forward fighters.

floyd and manny have both had very carefully calculated careers, both have been matched with people they would look good against.

How old is Floyd now, 34? I think a year out of the ring at that age when for someone who's style relies heavily on speed and reflexes won't do him any favours at all. I know his conditioning is good but I'd expect him to start deteriorating soon if he hasn't already. Right now I'd go for Pac by decision and I think he'd have Mayweather in trouble once or twice along the way.
