Mayweather's fights&performances have become xtremelly important for him since he's in a silent war with Pacquiao. He wasn't so much under pressure back then and he would respect either Shane and Cotto much more to whom he gave props at the end of his fight with Hatton and yet another retirement announcement. Ever since he saw Cotto losinh twice that way, he's definitely fooling him by way of shinning his shoes, telling him that he is as an undefeated fighter and keep on talkin about Margarito and non-directly about Pacquiao (catchweights)... Now, he's in to improve his performance against Shane who hits as hard if not harder than Cotto. Mayweather definitely trusts in his fluid and smart timing and boxing speed.
