Duran was a machine at Lightweight. Can Floyd use his defensive skills and general ring saavy to bambozzle the Panamanian, or does Duran grind him down and take him out? Pretty Boy v Hands of Stone Who takes it? And how do they do it?
I know i'll get alot of flack for this but PBF on his best night would get a 116-114 ud win. never mind the Castillo 1 win he wasn't at his best . but PBF deffinatley has a more then good chance. DUran is the greater fighter as far as resumes go. but PBF does get alot of hate
Duran KO. PBF hasnt ever faced anyone with the aggression or ability of Duran. RD mauls him from the first bell, breaks his defense down and KO's him by 9/10
Duran ko. What on earth makes anyone think Mayweather would win this, his wins over Baldomir and Gatti ? Please.
I have to agree. Duran is a great fighter but Floyd would've been too slick and would've frustrated him all night.
Duran would destroy the pretty boy. Duran retired 103-16, with 70 KOs This is a guy who fought the best of the golden era. He was unbeatable at LW. He even beat a prime Leonard in their first fight at WW. And we all know Leonard would eat Mayweather for lunch.
If Castillo beat him at 135, than Duran would kill Gayweather....and yes, castillo did win that first fight.
I have to say Duran takes a close decision, because he combines pressure with skill and that would certainly bank rounds. But Floyd would hit him. Hit him hard, hit him often, and Pretty Boy could punch at lightweight. Roberto would know he had been in a fight, Pretty Boy specialized in finding ways to tag you no matter how you defended yourself.
I agree that Castillo deserved the nod in the 1st fight but I think Floyd had legit excuses for his performance in that fight. He lost that one but proved his point in the rematch.
