Yes speed is speed but its all about how you use it. Mayweather IYO may not have the power to stop Cotto from coming, but Cotto doesnt have the chin to keep taking it just to get inside either. Lets say Mayweather doesnt have the power to stop him, he does have the power and accuracy to get his respect. Cotto wont be able to just walk through Mayweather. Cotto has just shown the ability to adapt in fights while Mayweather has been doing it longer than Cotto has been pro. Judah is as fast(but not as accurate and gets sloppy) as Mayweather but he isnt as good defensively with his reflexes and Mayweather uses his footwork better than Both Judah and Mosley. Mosley is stronger than Mayweather but lacks a jab as consistent as Mayweather's to keep Cotto off and doesnt throw a straight right he loops it. I understand where you are coming from, but only way I see Cotto winning is by a hailmary one punch kayo because he wont be able to outpoint Mayweather and wont hit him enough to get the stoppage.

I'm sure you feel I a Cotto hugger (I've been on this site for a while and many know how much I respect PBF) but you bring the obession to a new level. I'm actually inclined to beleive your genetic make up may have been graphed from the actually epidermis of Floyds scrotum. ;)

Cotto clearly landed some excellent counters and kept his jab pumping in Floyds face throughout the ending rounds. Being a Floyd fan you should apprecaite the suttle scoring Cotto did.....you cannot be still stubborn and hypocritical.

Cotto is a flat footed straight forward slugger. What happend to the other fighters thats used that style against Floyd.

That sentence, to me, is a great indicator that you aren't too familiar with Miguel Cotto's style or ability.

No I think most people on here just don't appreciate his craft. I've always treasured what he does in the ring....though at times his fans can be quite irratating and extremely biased. He can be beaten and so can Cotto....styles make fight and this is a sport full of professionals when you have that mixture you bound to find you maker.

I said the same thing to a friend of mine. Cotto was countering with the heavy shots. I had it 115 - 113 Cotto. That being said I was more concerned with Cotto for PBF after the Judah fight then I am now. i feel there were a lot of mistakes that Cotto made that Shane could not capitialize on. Specifically the straight right hand and Cotto doesn't have the best Stamina... he paces himself and takes rounds off. And for some reason he looked a bit slow of foot against Mosley more so then against Quintana and Judah.

He seemed more relentless in his attack against Zab and Quintana because truthly speaking both men have better head movement than Shane and strong pressure was the way to go. Shane is a pressure man himself and is just as strong if not stronger than Cotto so he became more of a counter puncher towards the end.
