Curious what General's enlightened opinion of this one is.

Lets say one fights 12 rounds, the other 15.

    Fight takes places at 140.

    Thoughts?

This is a great great great fight. Aaron Pryor did not give guys room, I think this is stylistically a bad match up for floyd (or anyone) who needs room because Aaron was precise, busy, tireless, and had a pretty good chin too with decent had movement.

Floyd is better I think, but the styles don't match up well in his favor. Even fight or slight edge to Pryor on INSANE untiring work rate and hard punching, without a huge height advantage to Floyd.

FMJ would school Pryor. 9-3, I say. Anyone who thinks Pryor could beat Mayweather - especially if they think he could beat him handily, is either trolling, or don't know **** about boxing.

Aaron would walk through Floyd's shots they way he did against Arguello and IMO wins via KO as I am not certain Floyd could take the relentless attack when the hour ticked to Hawk time. But I could see Floyd winning a UD.

I would have to flip a corn on that one cause AP was a bad man and Money wouldve had his work cut out from round one. Toss up!

I also think the 80s was a golden era of boxing and that these modern guys are not quite up to snuff in terms of conditioning and old school upbringing, so Floyd is way above everyone else now but I'm not sure he would clearly dominate Pryor.

Man I dunno...but as many punches as he throws, its not like Floyd cant see them coming or latch onto his ring manerisms and be able to predict what punches he is going to throw and counter him at will...I gotta say Floyd

Yeah, Mayweather knocks him out with little trouble, like Ortiz. Like an iron-chinned, fearless Ortiz who is 5 times more skilled and over 100,000 times mentally stronger. ...Oh, wait, no he wouldn't knock him out. Why? Because it'd be mu****in' Hawk Time, mu****ers! :ibutt:ibutt:ibutt

It's a very interesting fight. Pryor's very fast, unpredictable, swarming style is going to give Floyd fits, there's no question about it. On the flip side, he often left his chin in the air and and wasn't terribly difficult to find with well-timed counters, and Mayweather's are brilliant. I don't know. Forced to pick, I think it winds up being a very close fight that most judges give to Pryor due to workrate and aggression.
