Khan vs. Gatti is a better matchup than Mayweather vs. Khan

 

You have to be high if you think khan gives pbf problems especially the version who tooled gatti. Khan has **** defense has poor footwork and cant make adjusments. He cant outbox pbf nor can he knock him out how does he win? He would get figured out and eventually get caught with something he didnt see get shook up and get stopped. Khan is one of the most overrated fighters in boxing. Hes overrated by casuals who have no idea what they're watching they think fast hands and flashy combos equal boxing ability. There's a reason everytime khan has stepped up to the elite level he has come up short. hes a very flawed fighter hes not on pbfs level.

1 He could have fought Margarito for more $$$ & a far better fan friendly fight but instead fought Baldomir & stunk out the arena had stars from ringside walking out by round 9
2 He could have fought Pac when it mattered but used every excuse under the sun not to. When practically forced to he blatantly CHEATED & was given carte blanche by the NSAC to do so. Yet STILL barely managed a win over a sabotaged injured Pac despite the corruption
He could have fought Khan instead of Berto for an at least competitive fight & better $$$ maker but chose not to
Floyd knew all 3 were dangerous & even with all the Vegas advantages legal & illegal he didn't feel confident of winning

Style wise, Khan is not the usual Floyd opponent. Prime Khan can bring a lot of what Judah brought but with a better gas tank. Floyd could grind down stationary club fighters like Gatti over the first half of a fight, even given his feather fists, but Khan moves much better than Gatti. I think it would be a close decision either way.

 

And Khan was the mandatory. One rule for Mayweather and one for everyone else. Mayweather clearly ducked Khan. He don't like at speed.

 

Void was afraid of Khan's speed, esp. in the early rounds Khan is really good..................Void does not have any power, so he did not want that style. Void has already lost to Castillo and Oscar..............

 

Don’t make it appear like your ducking then by making a public poll and going against it and not fighting your mandatory for 2 years. I don’t think many people are claiming Khan would have won just that for some reason unbeknownst to us Floyd didn’t fancy that fight.

 

Triangle theory in 2018? Come on! Maidana gave Floyd problems because he developed a nice double-jab to push him back to the ropes, and then imposed his physicality. Fought dirty too. You can't expect anything like that from Khan. Why not say then that "Canelo KTFOed Khan, whereas Floyd proved against Canelo he's a superior boxer and is much quicker."?

Despite that he's quick and has good offence, he has no ability to adjust and can be predicted and timed. Of course, it's naive to think that Floyd wouldn't expose Khan's weaknesses.

 

No and no. First of all Zab is more of a natural counter puncher than Khan and he could counter PBF and keep him honest. He also had the ability to beat PBF to the punch something that Khan can't do either. He's also more explosive with more power than Khan is and was actually a bad match up for PBF due to him being a better natural athlete than PBF and a southpaw.

Khan is a front runner with leaky defense limited range **** footwork a suspect chin and an inability to adjust. He fights the same way from the opening bell throughout the course of the fight, there's little to no variation to his game. He's an orthodox boxer puncher and PBF's whole defense is designed to shut guys like that down. He loves fighting them because they throw punches from predictable angles and he can anticipate them, defend and counter accordingly. PBF wouldn't lose a round to Khan and is actually a stylistic nightmare for Khan to suggest anything else is wishful thinking or lack of an understanding of the finer aspects of technical boxing that astute boxing fans like me see.

People only say that Khan beats or gives PBF hell because he didn't face him. PBF would have a field day with Khan. Like I said before Khan can't outbox PBF nor can he knock him out. How does he win?

 

Khan would of been a bad style for mayweather he would beat him to the punch like Judah but unlike Judah khan has stamina

 

How is Khan a bad match up when he beats fighters by outboxing them? He's not going to beat PBF at his own game you're a damn fool if you think he can. Also he can't beat PBF to the punch. I bet you thought Pac would beat PBF to the punch to? LMFAO. How did that work out? PBF has much faster reflexes than Khan he would beat Khan to the punch all night long, it would be funny to watch. Khan is not faster than PBF and it would be apparent from the opening round. People like you continue to expose your lack of understanding the sport of boxing because of your irrational hate for PBF.

khan only issues is with big punchers and mayweather is not a big puncher
