No offense intended towards Khan here, but the dude' fight IQ is nowhere near the hemisphere it would need to be for him to actually have a chance against Floyd. If the fight happens Mayweather merk's him in the 10th, no way Khan lasts the distance against a fighting genius like Floyd, who will exploit every whole in Amir's game.

Khan just doesn't have what it takes to compete with Mayweather, no one does fighting right now between 147 & 160.

And you can flame if you want to, but I'm just a neutral fan here. I like both guys, but I'm more of a Rios and Garcia fan.

I have no problem with Khan talking about Mayweather it's a fight any fighter would want the pay day would be his biggest by far. He of course thinks he has a chance, what else do you expect him to say? It's not like he is going to say he wants the fight and will probably get beat.

The whole chess game comment though is foolish. He has zero ring intelligence he is incredibly predictable. He doesn't even know how to use his speed effectively. If he tries to out think and out box Mayweather he will get a Gatti like beating.

Khan needs to focus on his next fights. He always talks about future opponents and no wonder he constantly gets KTFO

He really does think Mayweather is going to be dumfounded by his hand speed, like it's nothing he's ever seen before. If Danny Garcia can work him out in less than 3 rounds Floyd will do it in about 30 seconds.

And whilst it will be his biggest payday I don't think he'll be getting the type of money he is expecting. Floyd will give him Ortiz/Guerrero money and nothing on the back end.

Every fighter wants Mayweather. Khan hasn't said anything unique here. Relax fellas.

He looked shot to sheet in his last fight against Diaz. I'd heavily favour Alexander. This Floyd stuff is just pie in the sky.

Amir has the speed and style trouble Floyd. Styles make fights. Khan is super fast , it don't matter for blokes like Canelo or Cotto and almost everyone else if you don't have the speed to land anything. Khan has the speed, Zab had the speed as was doing very good early & winnning the early rounds but has a glass heart and quit trying to win after he got hurt by a punch.

The "we are the superstars of boxing" is delusions of grandeur.

He really thinks the world of himself. he should probably re-watch the tape of him taking on a well past his prime Julio Diaz, who was no world beater himself when he was at his prime. He had Khan knocked down several times in that fight and made Khan work much harder than he expected for that victory over a very unimpressive, over the hill fighter.

There's no doubt in my mind that Floyd would knock him out. The first time he staggers Khan with a counterpunch is the moment that Floyd puts his foot on the gas and knocks him out in the middle of the ring.

Khan has nothing above Floyd, not even handspeed. And when you factor in his non-existent defense vs one of the top 3 defensive fighters of all time, and it spells a massacre and early retirement for Amir. He needs to shut up and focus on his fight with Alexander who I have as the clear favorite in that fight. Amir is truly delusional.

^^I get it that Amir has very good handspeed, but it's not faster than Floyd's. I've seen plenty of Khan fights and he does have very good technical ability, but not like Floyd's.

There's not one attribute that Amir has over Floyd. He's a very stupid fighter that makes fights against guys he's supposed to beat much harder than they actually have to be. A dumb fighter like him would get destroyed by a fighter with the IQ of Floyd. First mistake he makes (and he'll make a myriad of them) is the moment Floyd capitalizes on him and begins the night of humiliation and a one-sided beating.

Only guy with comparable handspeed to Floyd is Manny P, but once again that's another fighter with subpar defensive abilities.

Khan couples A grade speed with C grade technique; his foot work at times is appalling. Really low ring IQ too.

Khan would be cool in my books if he never opened his mouth. He's exciting as hell to watch, but when he says stuff like this; I cringe. He never learned his lesson on looking past an opponent.

Khan's speed means nothing against Floyd because his fundamentals are terrible, he has a very poor chin, and he doesn't have the pop in his punches to get Floyd's respect. It would be the rare occasion where Floyd actually gets the early knockout because his single-shot power is probably enough to get Khan's weak chin in serious trouble once he counters him. And as others have said, him vs Alexander is a 50/50 fight, Khan has gotten himself in trouble repeatedly looking ahead to a Floyd fight and overlooking his upcoming opponent.
