I think the earliest this could happen is in 2014, if Khan avenges his defeat to Garcia in 13 and become a unified champ at 140 again, then it could justify a fight with Mayweather.

 

Just admit that your thread is an abject failure and move on. Post up a poll asking who is guiltier of ducking fighters, Mayweather of Khan, and we'll see the results.

 

As I said, wake me up if a rematch is signed. Then you can feel free to bump this thread and celebrate with the rest of the ******s. For now, my thread/point stands, he will NOT rematch Garcia as he didn't rematch Prescott.

 

Khan was just a little reckless vs Garcia and paid the price a focused Khan takes him on a UD no problem, just watch that left hand.

Thing is Khan's ticket to Floyd still is Garcia and all his belts.

Who fought the best in the 140 division, offered the fight to Tim Bradley when both were champions, went to Peterson's backyard and after getting robbed got an immediate rematch. After that fell through, he takes on the next best fighter in Danny Garcia, now he wants a Garcia rematch - yet Khan's a cherrypicker :huh

Wasn't Prescott instantly acquired by FrankW following that fight as he kept him as far away from Khan as possible? I don't remember Khan showing any serious interest whatsoever in pursuing a Prescott rematch, if anything it was Prescott constantly calling him out.

If you knew what you were talking about, you would realise that whilst Khan was moving on with this career, fighting for the world title against Kotelnik and facing the likes of Maidana - top guys at 140. Prescott was getting comprehensively outboxed by Kevin Mitchell and lost to Paul Mccloskey
