But your bias aside for this one; lets just call a spade, a spade. Khan's easily faster than Floyd in handspeed. He's faster than Pacquiao and he's faster than everyone in when it comes to handspeed. Khan got this one right. But as someone else said, Floyd easily moves a lot faster and has faster reflexes.

I think it's really hard to time someone THAT fast with any consistency. Maidana and Garcia can make it work cause they only need to time Khan a few times to KO him or get him majorly staggering. I doubt floyd can do that.

floyd would have to press the action and beat him with smarts coming forward - which is an underapprecited part of his game. Playing counter-puncher to fighters that fast with that much activity is always a bad strategy ala Toney and Jones, or Hopkins and Calzaghe.

Julio Diaz was able to time Khan and almost stopped him at several points in their fight(which was Khan's latest fight). I repeat, Julio Diaz, who besides not being a great fighter, is not even really a counterpuncher nor a full-fledged Welter. Khan has speed but has always been too sloppy in using it and his punch resistance is at a low. If the fight happens, it will be the rare occasion where Floyd will be able to generate a highlight reel stoppage with his safety-first style.

It's possible that Khan could beat Void, but he needs to fire Hunter first. Khan is faster than Void, he needs to just out out and take his chances..........

Mayweather is fast but Khan is faster.

Mayweather times his punches. Timing beats speed. He would make Khan looks stupid with the lead left hooj and counter straight right off the shoulder roll.

But the problem with Khan is he is so damn predictable which leaves him open for counters. Khan does not know how to counter, he is either is full retreat or moving forward behind his jab and throwing combinations. He does not know how to transition from offence to defence and vice versa.

Garcia had no problem countering him because of this. Petersen was able to time his spurts because eventually Khan will predictably come to you and when he is defensive there will be no counters coming back as you chase him. It's also why Khan was KO'ed by Prescott, Khan instigated the attack and was caught trading with Prescott.

Khan says he will box Mayweather and not pressure him but Khan does not fight this way. He always instigates the attack, look at every fight of his, he may not be always be moving forward but he always looks to instigate the action.

If the 3 losses previously couldn't make him learn how to box and counter I can't see how facing Mayweather will suddenly make him change his style. No way Khan will be the one sitting back and countering his nature always gets the better of him making him engage his opponents giving them opportunities to counter.

Khan is simply looking to cash out, he is at least a couple of levels below Mayweather. Mayweather may take a few rounds to adjust but he will beat Khan without too much fuss. This is a mismatch.

The fact is that Floyd has fought more intelligent fighters than Khan, and they couldn't adapt or figure out a way to get the better of him. Speed will only be a factor for so long because Khan will slow down once he is on the receiving end of a few punches. I personally don't see a Khan victory unless Floyd gets injured or badly cut.
