No, Floyd is to conservative to take it strong to Khan. Floyd would be to concious of both Khan's speed and power.

IDK, if Diaz had Khan out on his feet several times, at 143.... Floyd better get him out of there in an impressive way... and he will.

:rofl There is some truth to that. Let's hope Khan's chin holds up for longer than 2 rounds.

Yeah, but Gatti was way slower than Mayweather. Floyd could beat him to the puch every time and fire off 5 and 6 punch combos at will. Against Khan, he can either choose to stalk him a la Peterson, or he could be patient and try counter him like Garcia. Either way, it would be highly unlikely that it would be as one sided as the Gatti fight. I don't think Khan can win, but he's much more talented than Gatti.

I dont think it will be as one sided as the Gatti fight.

Mayweather in that fight to me was the best Mayweather he ever was. His reflexes and speed was just incredible.

Gatti had a chin and mayweather was more of a killer back then.

Khan has good hand speed so to answer your question NO i dont think it will be as one sided as the Gatti fight

Nah, I can actually see Mayweather maybe taking a couple of rounds before he starts dominating. By the 2nd, Gatti was already being dominated and Floyd was landing combos seemingly at will.

Canelo, yes. Not that Canelo is anything special, but at least he was a bigger guy with some pop, decent skills, young and undefeated.

Khan on the other hand is, as Floyd likes to put it, "easy work". He got some range and speed and a nice jab, and that's about it. Floyd may take a round or 2 to adapt and then he'll dominate from there. Mayweather's skills and ring IQ are SO far beyond Khan.

Given the dearth of good matchups for Floyd at 147, and the fact that we all know the fight that should have happened in 2010 isn't gonna happen, I'm not even mad if this mismatch happens.

I knew the Gatti fight was so obviously pathetic of a fight even beforehand that I've never seen it to this day. This is nowhere near that bad.

Too bad a strong chin is not one of this talents. Also, don't forget about his horrible defense. Wait, what actual talents does he have?

It's worse, Mayweather wasn't making over $20 million per fight back then. It's almost as bad as him fighting Baldo.
