    Showtime can always take an "L"
    Have this fight as part of a "Free" Showtime weekend...
    This would break all kinds of ratings records for boxing on SHO making Mayweather look like a blockbuster & not get the backlash of **** PPV numbers that will ultimately come against any opponent not named Alvarez.

    They could sell the fight as Mayweather giving back to his "Fans".

    This would be great for boxing, but i cannot see this getting Floyd the billions he wants , he needs to pay for his children you know!

    Chino has more power, deserves it but this is a style matchup thing. Khan at least has a different style for floyd and can match speed

    floyd just eats flatfooted brawlers for breakfast

    On another note. Both fights suck!

    I'd rather see Floyd fight almost anyone over Maidana. The skill and speed gap is just ridiculous.

    Julio Diaz timed Khan, his speed is his weakness because he doesnt use it properly

    Maidana has far more of a chance than Khan - still virtually no chance, but more than Khan.

    The whole "Khan is a bad match-up stylistically for Mayweather" idea has always been a myth.

    Maidana is no worse a styles match-up but is more dangerous, and less apt to be short-circuited by the sort of crisp accurate counters that both Khan and Maidana would be fed by Mayweather.

    Finally someone that agrees with me. I thought Khan could give Floyd fits before he got knocked out by Garcia. Still think there's a fight there but maybe Virgil ruined his style.

    Khan would be ridiculously easy for Mayweather and has no more hand speed than him. I don't understand how people can delude themselves so much...
