It could have been huge if in the 18 months prior to the fight Khan had 2 good victories both on Sky ( preferably in the UK )

That would've built up his casual following again and led to many being prepared to stay up for a hyped up Mayweather fight

As it is many casuals still know Khan best for getting sparked by Prescott Lol

im not saying boxers shouldnt make the most of what they can.

im saying this fight is a forgone conclusion, there is nothing to watch.

to say that the fight should be made because it can easily do a million, even if the fight is trash, from fans perspective, yeah, it is trash.

there are other fights that can be made, like a pac fight perhaps, where theres an element of suspense who is going to win.

gone are the dela hoya eras. we are now in the gay era. ppv this ppv that. gay ass boring.

Khan has fought better comp than GG and it's not even close.

GG doesn't have time to "maximize his money draw at MW"
On top of that..the bums he's fighting isn't getting him ready for Ward.:deal

    GG's resume looks like that of a 21 y/o prospect as opposed to a 31 y/o 7 year pro.

He's not the most ambitious guy in boxing that's for sure.

People will stay up to watch cos Sky will promote the **** out of it, they'll get Khan on the Jonathan Ross show, maybe even throw a boxing article into a newspaper other than The Sun. Khan is a much bigger name in the UK than say Carl Froch, despite Froch being much more popular among boxing fans.

The problem is that Khan himself doesn't have much of a personality when he goes on these sh*t TV shows - he's either a boring, humble guy or he tries to act ****y and just comes off as a dick.

I posted this in the other thread, and you conveniently ignored it. I'll repeat:

You really have no idea how boxing economics works, do you?

he has an agenda to push. spin khan being a credible opponent for floyd no matter how laughable it looks like.

    it is easy to read.

when floyd picks maidana and khan pursues pac fight instead, notice the drastic difference in opinions about khan.

  9. I think Khan has a bigger fan base in the UK but not in the US.(British Fanbase) I think Maidana has the bigger fan base in the US.(American and Mexican fanbase)

Khan's a way bigger draw than Maidana. Besides the United States, the UK is arguably the biggest Boxing nation in the world. Brits would stand behind Khan in a fight against Mayweather. Khan has also proved his drawing power by getting good ratings for his fights.

Khan-Judah averaged 1.3 million viewers, so did Khan-Garcia. Khan vs McClouskey rose to 1.5 million during the main event. Khan-Peterson averaged 1.3 million viewers and Khan-Maidana did 1.2 million. When Khan fights people tune in.

    definitely Khan
Khan is flashy, got a big mouth, speaks english good, has way faster hands than Mayweather which is extremely unusual, his background is different and he also already beat Madaina and has much bigger fan base appeal

madaina can hit but he's just not fast enough, he has no charisma like Khan or real threat potential, plus who really cares other than parts of one or two countries?

I don't know but I would guess Khan. His fans would definitely tune in if he was fighting Floyd and haters would also tune in hoping too see him get KO'd.

Im not sure Khan is anymore , he really has fallen off the planet. Not fought in nearly a year , been exposed a number of times and isnt Hatton who was liked by almost every body in the UK.

Maidana would be slightly more competitive but I dont like either fight.

    Maidana.

He has a WW title and is still hot from beating Broner and Mexicans can pretend he's one of them.

I'm not too sure if Khan's UK fanbase is still on board.
