Khan does not have the skills to outpoint Mayweather. Geez, some people still overrate the hell out of guys just because they have speed, and call it "skills". If he had ring smart and elite boxing skills, he wouldn't be Amir Khan.

He is just a fighter with some speed and range and a nice jab. His skills really aren't that good for a world-class fighter. Leaky defense, not accurate, sloppy combos (flurries), extremely flawed footwork and balance.

Mayweather by stoppgae
Mayweather 12-0
Mayweather 11-1
Mayweather 10-2
Mayweather 9-3
Khan wins beause Mayweather suffers a freak accident and breaks his leg or ankle or something.

 

It would not be a bigger upset than Douglas-Tyson.

Khan is a glass jawed Bum with too many flaws to mention, totally undeserving of even a shot at an eliminator never mind at Mayweather. Celebrity status and twitter followers because of race/religion is the reason for this fight possibly taking place. It's embarassing for boxing.

 

This maybe good that when it flops then Showtime might force him to fight Pac.

He started focusing on defense and he now looks worse than ever.

Even posters who I consider *****s are being fair and calling this for the **** fight that it is. That should tell you everything you need to know. I gave Floyd props for fighting Canelo, even with the BS needless CW and then he goes and dumps this **** and expects people to buy the "young hungry lion" bull**** again like people did against Ortiz? GTFO.

 

Mouth watering like how people drool in their sleep. There is nothing remotely intriguing about this fight, except for Khans speed. But the speed angle won't sell this fight. If fighters like Peterson, Garcia, Diaz, Maidana, etc. can land on him, then Mayweather will have no problem.

I have my doubts that this fight gets signed. Mayweather and his team know that Khan is no Hatton, and this ppv will flop. There are 2 options for Floyd; Pacman, or GGG. Anything else gets **** ppv's numbers.

The only good that may come out of this is if the numbers are so bad, that Mayweather has no choice but to make the fight with Pac happen.

Mayweather should be fighting guys like bradley or pacquiao and not these type of fights that GBP was/is feeding him. Easy money for him with very minimal risk.

 

Everyone in the UK knows of or has heard the name Amir Khan but nobody's buying his PPV's!! Most people in the pub have never heard of Mayweather.

The biggest boxer at the minute in the UK is Froch and he could walk in my local pub and nobody would turn their head. Gone are the days when Hatton,Naz,Lewis sold out arenas and people stay up late to watch them fight.

I'm a big Floyd fan, sugar coat this fight all you like but it is garbage. If Khan had just had the Peterson fight (it was close either way) I wouldn't mind this fight but Khan looked awful in his last 2 fights after Garcia. He is **** to bits, has zero chin and even Floyd will stop him.
