Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Well somehow Khan survives and gets a decision against Garcia/Lucas/Peterson. The whole of ESB will claim Hunter is great for him and he is a suitable opponent for Floyd Mayweather. This is how it works.

Yeah, no more sympathy for this guy. He just wants to cash out, **** him. (Re)Learn your craft, become a credible opponent, prove it by beating 2nd tier guys then challenge the big boys. **** a sport that allows this **** to happen. It should operate like a league, everyone fights everyone and the top guys are determined by overall success withe the champ on top facing the top contenders. If fans won't turn out for boring fights, change the rules that allow fighters to be boring.

I am a Khan fan and harsh critic. I was there at the Julio Diaz fight.

He has amazing support but some of his supports are idiotic and blow smoke up his arse and inflate his ego. This needs to stop. He needs to leave the UK completely and stay out in America for 2-3 years and fight 2-3 times a year. This on-off training is what has restricted his progress thus far.

He needs to live and breathe boxing totally and only THEN can he live with the likes of Mayweather (who incidently, plays hard but is a virtual gym rat).


His other problem is that he is surrounded by family (nothing bad about that) but a load of 'yes' men too. The other element of this is that his managers are all dodgy ex-insurance salesmen or falseclaim.com affiliates. They think about the money first and foremost and a Mayweaher fight for them is cashing out big time. He needs them to take a backward step and get his head fight.

He needs to be in that gym every single day...not sparring hard but just learning and changing his entire psychology and approach to the game. You don't beat Mayweather by being a part time boxer.

But, Khan won't beat Mayweather mainly because he's not good enough and never was. But Khan won't change and that's the fact of the matter. He will next fight in December when he will be 27 and he wants to retire before 30 aswell.

All he wants is one big payday and then he'll pack it in, he's only in it for the money.
