Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Crap fight, but the OP is being paid to promote this crap fight.

 

Khan has great skills. He was outboxing Danny Garcia even Danny's daddy was saying "son hes taking you apart". He took Judah, Kotelnik and Malignaggi apart. Khan's crypotinte is a pressure fighter with power.

This fight will be Mayweathers most exciting fight and I'm looking forward to it.

 

At this point the boxing world knows Thurman KO Mayweather, It will not be exciting...Mayweather will be steam rolled...The fight will never even be mentioned

Mayweather is old now, he can duck Thurman it's not as bad as ducking Margarito or Paulie Williams ...fans don't want him to fight young Lions. As long he fights Khan, Maidana, then equally old Pacman & Martinez...everybody will be happy

Come on, May will beat Khan about as badly as he did Drainelo. This fight is a joke, whether millions watch or not.

 

The only guy that Floyd could fight right now and people would say he deserves it and can sell PPV is Danny Garcia but he does not want the fight.

Timothy Bradley is the fight I want and he is the most deserving but he is with Top Rank (Not sure how this would sell but not many people would complain about this fight)
Amir Khan - Has a following and a solid resume (If is stupid a$$ fought Alexander and won he would have a title and no one would be even complaining about this fight)
Marcos Rene Maidana - Has to face Broner in a rematch
Manny Pacquiao - 1-2 his last 3 fights and is with Top Rank
Juan Manuel Marquez - Lost his last fight and Floyd already beat him easy
Shawn Porter - got a solid win but is not that well known yet but has a title
Keith Thurman - got a solid win but is not that well known yet (Could be a future opponent since he will be the mandatory for the WBA)
Erislandy Lara - For the Belt Floyd already has??????? high risk low reward
Carlos Molina - Not sure if this would sell much or even if Floyd still wants to fight at Jr. Middleweight anymore but he has the IBF belt which Floyd has never won.

I don't think Khan deserves it more than some of the fighters on the list but he seems to be the only money fight left I see. Molina and Porter actually have Belts to bring to the table but not the name recognition.

Floyd is fighting 2 times this year so hopefully by September a solid guy emerges at 147lbs.

Manny is the standout candidate if it's by merit.

I wouldn't buy it, even if its a great undercard (because I wouldn't support Mayweather fighting such a bogus fight).

I hope he doesn't get Garcia or someone to legitimize his card by fighting on the undercard/co-main event.

Very disappointing fight from Floyd. I cant say "again" because last fight was legit as it gets. Even i never saw anything special about Canelo, but Floyd deserved credit for fighting and beating him up.

 

yea that might be so but if it does bad then showtime will preasure Floyd to take big fights
