Come on. Pac was coming off a devastating loss. It's called a tuneup fight. Anyone ripping Pac for a tuneup fight after getting flatten would be a moron. Are you?

Of course we won't call him out for that, only ******ed e-trolling trash like you will out of desperation. Difference between Pacquiao's easy fight and Mayweather's joke fights(Ortiz, Guerrero and Khan soon) is that Pacquiao had to come off a serious loss(happens when you fight real opponents) to consider an easy fight.

Agree 100%, they could do it at 3am UK time so still ppv in the states & fill Wembley stadium up aswell as ppv in the UK.

    80,000 tickets x £100 = £8 million
    + UK PPV @ £15 a pop
    + US PPV

Don't get me wrong this would sell tickets in the UK, but 80,000? I think nearer the 50-60k mark.

secondly it would have to wait until June to go ahead due to the paly offs and FA cup final and rumours are they are looking at early may.

That said, financially it is prudent to have this in the UK as I really don't think it will be of much interest in the states.

But there were other pundits who claimed Pacquiao must’ve chosen Bradley because the reigning WBO welterweight champion would not prove wholly troublesome or, to put it bluntly, dangerous to Pacquiao’s health. --- Philippine Daily Inquirer Jan 23, 2014

People are really over rating mayweather and Khans popularity in the UK. Most people I know hate Khan and think he is an arrogant arsehole. How many people in the UK has even heard of Mayweather? Certainly not enough to fill wembley stadium at £100 per seat.

The fight being in the UK would add a redemptive quality.

    Unfortunate that it's not...

Because even more take place in the US.
Not defending the UK in any way, because I think the judges and referees there suck bigtime but the US is just as bad.

Floyd gets gate money from the casinos etc, overhere they would get UK tax on the winnings, so from a money point of view, Vegas would mean more profit for Floyd
