The fight wouldnt be in jeopardy unless he failed a drug test. He can easily cover this up if true. I highly doubt we will see anything come out anyway.

im guessing its some stupid group of fans who dont want the fight to be made and are starting a bunch of rumors to the tabloids or something...

    the cocaine thing...maybe.

But who cares if he cheats on his wife? The man is a professional athlete, of course he's cheating on his wife.

You in the states or in the UK? Khan has been exposed in the press over here quite a few times... including waving his micro ***** over skype.

I'm sure if this story is going to break they have pictures, video etc.

Even if they have all of the above I see it having no effect on the mayweather fight

lmao. it's a promotional angle so people arent so preoccupied with how **** the fight is.

instead they be asking khan why he is snorting coke or who is she banging apart from his wife or both.

Thing is, if these allegations have any weight to them, Khan will be seen as a less of viable opponent. Instead of being in top form he's slacking both physically and mentally. Try selling that sorry sack of **** as a top level challenger.

As we sit here today the fight hasnt even been announced so it will not carry any weight on the fight. Hes not "officially" in camp for mayweather...If the fight was booked and there is a **** ton of stuff to come out then we would have some problems. But as we sit right now he doesnt have an opponent to officially train for...

He wasn't a viable opponent anyway and he was still considered. I'll be surprised if the story here will ruin it.

Agreed. Doesn't mean they won't try to sell him as one anyways.

Think there might be something to the Cotto rematch though. It's all about making money and that one might be GB's best bet right now.

There's no way they will go for a Cotto rematch. They would rather face Khan, a new opponent, than someone they already fought and beat. Cotto is most likely going to fight Martinez at 160.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cotto's being less than genuine about his interest in fighting Martinez. It's kept his name out there and makes it look like he has options, but for such a great businessman he'd be fighting a bigger opponent for less money.

Showtime/GB need an opponent for Mayweather that's going to cover that $40mill guarantee. Guerrero may or may not have done that based on who you believe. Khan likely won't do it. A Cotto rematch would actually sale ok. And since Mayweather only causes minimal damage, Miguel would still be a viable opponent for Alvarez later in the year. For most fans this is all less than ideal, but for the promoters and networks it's the tits.
