Now you're just rambling. He's the best current active fighter, that's for sure. Furthermore, a high ranking in the sport does not mean that you have to make nonsensical decisions. Absolutely no one, including you, would fight Lara over Maidana or Khan if they were in Mayweather's position. Mayweather vs. Lara could potentially bomb at the box office, and has the makings of a very tactical and boring fight. Where is the upside? It's a fight that could upset the network, the fans, and it would do little for Mayweather were he to win.
