you guys dont know **** about boxing, so i guess rigondeaux was just an amateur when he beat donaire then who was a multi weight world champ and numer 3 p4p, the pros is a bussiness where you dont have to fight the best or be the best, in an am world championship you do, mayweathers made a career of fighting past prime boxers and cherry picking!

Also i guess lomachenko being just an amateur means nothing aswell, thats why hes getting a world title shot already right lol

I'll ask you a question then

who hasn't Lara fought in his division?

who has mayweather fought at welterweight or 154 or even 140?

has mayweather fought the best ams in the world?

Did mayweather loose to the best ams?

Did mayweather loose at national am level several times?

Did mayweather win an am world championship or olympic title?

As someone who can possibly see Trout edging Alvarez the only reason that fight is close is due to open scoring having Alvarez way up after 8 and him taking rounds off. Despite Alvarez not fighting how people thought he should against Mayweather, Alvarez has shown himself to be a competent boxer with fluid combos his stamina is a concern but he has inproved with every fight and just because you lost to the best doesn't mean a lesser copy beats you. Also the Lara-Trout Mayweather-Alvarez comparasion is as easy as saying Angulo almost KO'd Lara so could Alvarez.

I'm familiar with the Cubans fighters an the there decorated AMATEUR experience people arequick to bring up but that is a tenth of the pressure of a high profile primetime PPV fight and Midana is greatly more experienced there.

Mayweather-Lara isn't a more competitive fight than Mayweather-Midana it's just a different style as far as PROS both are on a similar level with Midana maybe being slightly higher and Midana has the better W going in and will make for a more entertaining fight.

Everybody knows now that Maidana wasnt at his best when he fought Khan. Maidana is a different beast than he was 3 years ago...

Broner is a better win than trout who beat cotto and canelo oh dear!
Mayweaher maidana is also not competitve at all with maidana not being able to land a punch all night, remeber maidana has been schooled and outclassed by alexander, morales beat him kotelnik aswell and khan, unbelievable what rubbish some people write on here! absolute rubbish! :-(

Both guys have almost no chance and I wish Mayweather would challenge himself and look at guys at 154 or even 160 instead of these total mismatches.

When it comes to Khan or Maidana I guess it doesn't matter who he picks, I'm shocked if it isn't Khan, because he dominates both.

Khan is a better style match up and has a better chance of being remotely competitive than Maidana.

Maidana has atleast went out and done something to earn a shot. He just beat Broner and before that beat solid welterweights like Lopez and Soto Karass. Khan has one decent win in Diaz and then avoided Alexander.

Since neither guy has a shot at beating Mayweather and Maidana has actually went out and earned it by taking tough fights while Khan as avoided tough fights(Alexander) to get his shot I really hope its Maidana.

Maidana has no chance against Mayweather and we will only see another one-sided ass-whupping.
Khan-Mayweather is not a barn buster, but it would be more entertaining then watching slow Maidana prodding around the ring being pot shotted with straight rights all night.

With regard to Khan vs Maidana, Khan is SHOT! he is finished and done, Garcia took everything out of him, Diaz fight showed that, regardless of his clear weakness the Khan that beat MM would have dominated Diaz. For as much as Khan has declined Maidana has improved, he isn't the one dimentional slugger that lost to Khan and went life and death with Morales, Garcia has improved him a ton and is still doing so, in a rematch Maidana destroys Khan inside 6 i really think Khan is a done fighter even at his young age.
