Ask Canelo what's the worse that can happen. Alvarez went from a fighter that thought he was invincible to a fighter that was embarrassed in front of millions and made to doubt himself. Thurman's confidence is one of the best things going for him, no need to stick a needle in it at this point in time.

You seem to have one thing in common with a lot of posters on ESB and it's not objectivity.

Canelo was created by GBP for that purpose -originally cashout vs JCC jr until he got too fat-

Keith Thurman had to fight his way & always go by KO...no one bought him easy fights, looking for awkward weirdos who need a payday...or gave him the TV Rock star hype

Thurman is today #1 Welter, we are just giving Mayweather the star treatment cause he is old & lots of people depend financially on this ****...However, its unethical to even pretend that Mayweather has a chance to beat Thurman.

Mayweather will never fight Thurman, because Thurman is too good for him...Its a Just Duck & lets keep it at that :thumbsup

Floyd's actually in a great spot. No one cares who he fights in May. He will be watched not anymore because of the 0, but because he will only be seen a few more times.

I'm still hoping he somehow fights Pacquiao...

Trainer of Tim Bradley shares his thoughts on the Mayweather's next possible opponents :

"I don't see why he should fight Amir Khan. He got knocked out by Danny Garcia. Boxing is just confusing sometimes. Marcos Maidana, he beat Adrien Broner, but he lost to Khan. Boxing is juts a gamble. I think there is better opposition out for Floyd Mayweather than Khan or Maidana.....like Danny [Garcia] or even Cotto. I would rather see him fight Cotto again, because he really did give him a run for his money in that fight," Diaz said.

I'm sure Floyd fans will call him hater ..

Hmm. Interesting. So then Danny Garcia is going to make a defense March 15th against Mauricio Herrera and then be available for Mayweather in May?

Miguel Cotto, who is set to challenge Sergio Martinez on June 7th, should reasonably be expected to rematch Mayweather two months before that?

    :huh

I don't know that Diaz thought his suggested alternatives to Khan and Maidana through very well...

    Hahahaha, no kidding...

Well then what did Diaz say about Bradley's WBO defense last March against Provodnikov?!? Being that Provodnikov had taken a recent L, never notched a win over a fellow contender, and was thought of as a JWW entering the Bradley fight.

Diaz just bitter that Bradley had to re-sign with Top Rank or else be shelved and then have their careers tied up in court for a few months.
