Unbelievable. Some people are actually pretending to be upset over the possibility that Mayweather may fight Maidana instead of Khan.

It is what it is. Khan is the stylistically more difficult option. Floyd taking the easy route is nothing to be praised, he's been doing it for years.

I hope he's not. Maidana style is what Mayweather is use to explioting. Khan would be a more interesting fight between the two.

I'm glad it's Maidana, he has done better recently than Khan.

So let me get this straight, if Broner would've beaten Maidana, would it have been just Khan or Broner as an option too?

    I repeat:

Who was the last opponent that could compete with Floyd's hand speed and overall quickness? Zab Judah? And didn't Judah win rounds off of prime Floyd?

Wow, all of a sudden people are pulling for Khan fight and its a good fight for Floyd now. Before everyone said Maidana deserves it and when it might happen people dog it

    :deal

Schafer has said that Lucas will make his return April or May. So I think that will probably happen.

There really isn't anyone else to get. So by logical deduction, these two fights will be the main/co main event.

Possibly a Mares/Gonzalez fight in the mix too to boot. Maybe a Thurman vs Shawn Porter fight as well? Loads of good fights to choose from to beef up this card. Maybe Lamont or Alexander will be a part of it?

This card will easily do over 1 million buys.

    Cheers. :bbb

Don't think Khan would be up for that.

judah won 2 rounds and got completely owned for the other 10.
what was your point again ?

kahn was a much much tougher fight but you guys ONLY go off what paper say and on paper maidana is better.

this will be such a one way thrashing andf i like marcos, a lot so this fight sucks for me. if floyd tries to take him out he could in 3/4 rounds but not his style.

he gonna work him over something fierce and the corner or ref brings out the mercy rule. rounds 6-9 its over with marcos being one befoee the fight starts.

this again proves floyd greatness, a top 47 lber has NO chance against a aging 37 yr old.... dude he should be easy picking..
37 for such a top fighter is ungeard ov. and dont bring hops in this he truly hasnt been one of the best in the sport since his 160 days. and that wass mostly on paper not proven in the ring.
i truly dont know any great or elite or borderline true MW he beat

Khan isn't in any form, this isn't 2009-11 anymore. Khan should not be an option with no wins at WW and 2 title losses in his last 2 LWW title fights.

No surprise here. A short, slow plodder with a shorter reach. Right out of the Mayweather handbook.

I said before I'd be surprised if Floyd fought Khan. Floyd was going to have all kinds of problems with Khan having equal height, reach and speed as him, plus a better work rate.

:goodMayweather-Khan at 1.1 to 1.3 million PPV buys sounds just about right especially with the fanbase that both fighters, specifically Khan, will attract to the fight. Another PPV success for Floyd. I'm definitely watching it!
