I realize Khan's chin is garbage. Really though, besides the times that he gets hurt in a fight, he clearly outboxes his opponents most of the time. He got KTFO against Garcia who has proven he is at the top level. DIaz also IMO beat Porter ( who justy destroyed the guy that destroyed Maidana)

Maidana on the other hand, made Kotelnik look like the second coming of Floyd Mayweather. Maidana threw probably a thousand punches and MAYBE got 60 through the turtle D of Kotelnik. He was outclassed by Devon for christs sake.

Khan would be competitive at least until he got hurt (so maybe 5 rounds?) but Maidana will be lucky to win 10 seconds of the fight. If it weren't for him beating Broner's over rated ass you'd all be crying bloody murder. Maidanas win streak is over rated too. Had Vic not broken his jaw, Josessito would have been on a 3 fight losing streak which brings me to Angel Martinez ... who was on a 4 fight winless streak.

STYLES make fights... not padded win streaks.

 

A victory over Maidana means more than one over Khan. I hope this is true...

I am a floyd fan and I think the choice is bs.
Lara or thurman would be good.
Garcia or kirkland would both be better than Khan or Maidana
But since Floyd is taking a gimme fight, I pick maidana he is at least tough.

 

Thank God. Khan got beaten by old Julio Diaz he would be toast with Mayweather, Maidana, even Broner. Khan can take on Broner or rematch Malignaggi at 147.

 

Floyd's performance over Canelo would look modest compared with what Lara would do to gingerboy. :yep:good:deal

I seriously don't understand why many want to see this fight.

Maidana sure he's a tad more deserving than Khan and is coming off a big win but the dude has nothing for Floyd stylistically.

He's a poor man's Canelo Alvarez. If Canelo did nothing with Floyd, what makes you think Maidana will. Sure Maidana does have some boxing ability, the dangerous awkward left hooks, right hands etc but Floyd will easily take that all away.

He is not fast enough to beat someone like Floyd, he will never break that defense.

Floyd will box circles around Maidana with ease, and potshot his way to a stale 12 round decision.

Khan brings a much more enticing style to this fight. His speed/his offensive arsenal will make this a much much more entertaining fight to watch.

Khan is never ever in a dull fight and will bring much more bang for your buck.

Khan is the better fight stylistically and has the better chance of at last winning rounds vs Floyd.

Khan is faster than Void, so it would be interesting fight. Maidana has improved a lot since he has been with his new trainer.........
