Khan has a shitt load of improvement to do. Persoanlly I think it would last a while before he gets TKO'd.

If I were him I would start like I did with Diaz for 5 rounds, jabs to the body quick ones twos, stack up scoring blows on the score card with his hand speed , then when Mayweather tries to go offensive keep turning and scoring like he did with Roach. It would be his best chance.

Mayweather with Sr. is gonna be a lot more reserved and barely used his left hook against Guerrero (who to be fair is a South paw) or a sweeping left hook (jumping into it) like he typically does.

From the perspective of sale Khan is right up there with Canelo especially if the fight is held in England.

Khan isn't going to take too many right hand counters that he doesn't see coming. Think Floyd hurts and stops him early.

Khan has the physical tools but not the style to cause Mayweather problems.

Khan is predictable, he always instigates the attack, he seems either incapable or unwilling to fight off the back foot. Khan always leads and that predictability will be punished by a skilled counter puncher like Mayweather.

Mayweather legs have gone but it's not like he will have to chase Khan who will come straight at him. While Mayweather may not be a huge hitter he has enough power to hurt Khan. We won't see a 1 shot KO but Mayweather will land cleanly and repeatedly, with regularity.

Khan will have some success early with the jab but eventually Floyd will get his timing down and counter the jab with right hands. I see Mayweather stopping Khan in about 8 rounds.

It is very difficult to win a decision against Khan because most of the guys he fought were nothing compared to Mayweather. He will lose rounds and get pummeled hard in this one. You need to be from P.akistan to really believe Khan has a chance.

My mates a pakstani, he said his family sat down and had a good laugh at Khans expense during his last fight and were wandering how long it was before Diaz Kos him, alas, it never happened.

    1. Probably, doesn't matter though because Khan is predictable and Mayweather is a far superior boxer with great timing.
    2. Mayweather could beat Khan how he chooses, either walking him down or catching him jumping in, makes no difference.
    3. No you don't, Mayweather would toy with him such is the gulf between them in terms of boxing ability.
    4. He could floor Khan easily with a single punch, lots of people have. Why does he need to KO him in one? Mayweather would pick his shots and finish Khan cleanly, not crowding his own work like Diaz.

You do realise there is no difference between those "versions"? Maidana has less technical skill than most of Khan's recent opponents so obviously Khan can nick a few more rounds despite getting smacked around the ring.

Na if Khan fought Maidana now, he would do well to see the 6th round. In the Maidana fight he was in his best condition. I believe his punch resistance is at an all time low now and the next decent puncher he fights will lay him out.

You're delusional like Khan. Amir must fight somebody else first, good calibre. If he loses, then he'll retire. :)

My opinion: Khan will never fight Mayweather, Canelo will get his chance (surely) but later.

He will! Now now, but Money wants to defeat any opposition. Then he can retire.

His punch resistance has always been like that, look at when Limond legitimately stopped him. Against Diaz he was getting hurt regularly (from seemingly light punches) but keeping upright which he has always been able to do, the problem is when his opponent can follow it up and keep him down.

In the Maidana fight Khan repeatedly turned his back to aviod getting hit, in the Diaz fight he repeatedly held and used headlocks, both guys got too close and smothered their own work allowing Khan to hold on, Maidana in particular was crude and missed with wild shots. Garcia didn't give him that option and stuck to the plan, winging massive hooks until he went down again.

But yeah, Khan has always been a very easy guy to hurt. It happened at domestic level before he faced Prescott, he was known as a KO waiting to happen.

Getting dropped and wobbled multiple times by Julio Diaz tells everyone what they need to know about Con's comments.
