Schaefer is gonna look stupid because he was saying how stylistically Amir khan will be a good fight because he has speed and we are used to seeing Floyd fight other types of fighters....so is he gonna backpedal if it's a wild, aggressive, brawler like maidana?

 

Just announce it already.

 

Floyd has bitched n moaned about how his promoter bob arum played him for a fool for years now. He holds it over bobs fighters heads as well, but as soon as floyd is the promoter he does **** like this. Makes these guys wait, leads them on n sits back laughing n pointing. Classic. Like the kid who cries when bullied n then bullies the first kid who is weaker than him.

 

Come on Floyd.. Take Lara! make us proud!

the longer it takes the more I believe Floyd may have sth special up his sleeve...

Khan's like the dude that falls in love with the prom queen & feels like she's his jus because they're in the same class, he gets mad jealous if she's talking to another fella & has been seen taking deep sniffs of her hair when he's sitting behind her, whereas Maidana's the cool dude who doesn't give a **** & comes in & f@cks the prom queen before dumping her quick.

 

Poor Amir Khan, I feel so bad for him. Bob Arum is such a nice guy, sticking up for him like this. :roll:

Seriously though, maybe they are looking at somebody else other than these two, if its taking this long, unlikely but they've done it in the past (mentioned poor fights then come up with another name which seems better in comparasion).

Most likely, Mayweather knows who he has picked and has already started training for it but the talk and speculation can't do any harm (only thing worst than being talked about is not being talked about). And also, when he does announce who he is fighting, its a psychological thing that they will feel they have won by getting the Floyd fight in the first place.

 

the problem with fighting maidana is what will happen to broner's rematch with him.

not too long ago, he was adamant he only want maidana rematch.

and, khan can pursue a fight with pac if he cant get his opportunity.

maybe not in may, of course, but around september.

remember, he called out bradley before, so he could fight the pac-bradley winner.

khan may choose to fight an easy fight instead of taking on broner, to make sure he gets the pac-bradley winner.

khan is another card arum can play in light with jmm continued non-commital on a 5th pac fight, if pac wins.

so it's really a convoluted mess.

 

Who can broner fight if Floyd picks maidana....
