Fighting Mayweather IS a payday for Khan and will generate enough attention for Khan which will still make him a bigger name in his future fights. That's what Khan is seeking including the payday. Fighting Brook in England will not make him double the amount fighting Mayweather will, lay off the crack. While it will pay him good the risk is far too much for the reward it will offer.

Yes he does need to beat some hype-jobs similarly hyped as he is to earn a big payday fight. Not sure if you're living in a caravan, but that's how it always was in the sport.
