When was the last time, (outside of the recent Maidana fight of course) where a fighter wasnt coming off a big, even career high win?

Khan doesnt have a belt, and hasnt beaten a top fighter in a few years.

Now if he fights and beats Guererro in December, then I can see the fight happening.

No way he gets the fight off a year old Collazo fight.

    School the Khantards (and *******s)

Maidana was coming off the best run of his career and a win over Broner,
an undefeated champion in his prime.

Ortiz was coming off the best run of his career and a win over Berto, an undefeated champion in his prime.

Khan is coming off 2 losses, a dodgy win vs Diaz, a win over Collazo (who was already in semi retirement).

He was a WBA champion and getting a lot of hype, and had been champ at LW before he moved up.

A recent Broner win is a lot bigger than a year old win over Collazo

Why then did Mayweather offer the choice of Khan as an opponent before he'd even fought Collazo? :think Only to fight a guy Khans already beaten when Khan won the poll? :think

And why do you think he turned down Khan when one of the polls had him on top?

Because one guy was coming off a big title fight win on Showtime

And the other guy was coming off a close decision against Julio Diaz

The same guy that Collazo knocked out in 2? The same Berto that got a gift against Collazo? :think

Because Maidana is tailor made for him and got shut out 10-0 by Devon Alexander. One of the polls? You mean his poll, the only one that was meant to count

Guererro doesn't have a belt so the only reason I can see as to why he fights Khan is for high numbers. Is Guererro a big win?

Yes, Guererro is a top 10 fighter, who has fought Mayweather and is a known entity.

Scenario 1: Khan tries to get a Mayweather fight a year after beating Collazo

Scenario 2: Khan tries to get a Mayweather fight 5 months after beating Guererro.

Which do you think is an easier sell?

Wheres these "big numbers" going to come from?
Khan was running hot at one point, but in the last couple of years, the iron has gotten cold.

Fact: Khan has one of the worst glass jaws in the sport and one of May's crisp right hands will shatter that china glass to a billion pieces. It's irrefutable. NO one can refute it.

Yes because the Ortiz who fought Floyd and the one that Collazo beat a few years later was the same fighter, moron :patsch

FFS Ortiz himself was semi retired and making movies when he fought Collazo

Who has Khan beat since his two losses?

    Nobody.

Broner is/was better than anything Khan has done since then.

Ortiz has never been anything special. Lopez and Collazo just proved further what a cherrypick he was for Floyd. Khan is much more deserving of a Floyd fight than Ortiz ever was. Floyd would rather feast on Khans leftovers tho (twice)

The level of gullibility and naivety amongst some of you *****s is quite astounding
