Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

floyd wanted to fight mosley years ago but mosley said his tooth was hurt.

and khan is not a threat.

 

Floyd, like Pac, is in a dammed if you do, dammed if you don't catch 22. *****'s will say he picked the best there is since the best there is won't test. *******s will say he cherry picked Khan because he didn't fight PAC.

Just like PAC, before ODL, he was going to be destroyed, then he spanks Oscar, and all of a sudden Oscar was a weight drained shell of himself.

Neither fighter can do right in the eyes of certain fans, and thats just the way it is.

 

Void ducked Margarito, Cotto, Pac and will duck Khan as well. Void loves to beat up women though.............

 

it depends on how khan develops. if khan turns out to pose serious threat to floyd, i'm actually excited to see what floyd's next move would be. vacation and phony retirement are no longer options.

khan will give back all he gets, even if floyd wants to duck khan i cant see it happening as khan would go public just like he did when bradley ducked him

the only way i see this fight not happening in 2012 is if khan loses in either of his next 2 fights

hopefully it will be at wembley so i can go watch, i still think floyd wins but it will be a great test for both fighters, it will be a marker to see just where khan is and if he can compete with the best and a test for floyd to see if he still has it and if he can handle a younger faster guy

 

you guys are funny, anyone Mayweather decides to fight is going to be looked upon as a cherrypick. If mayweather and pac get made and Mayweather wins easily, I can't imagine all the excuses that many of you will make in defense of Pac, Khan, or anyone else mayweather gets in the ring with. He's right when he said he's damned if he does/ damned if he doesn't.

 

that maybe true of alot of pac fans but not me, im a huge pac fan but if floyd beats manny i will have huge respect for floyd and ill admit i was wrong to think manny could win.

as it stands tho, IMO i do believe floyd is avoiding the fight and so ive lost respect for the guy

 

My prediction:

Floyd will fight Kahn.
Kahn will make him look foolish for 12 rounds.
Then Mayweather will get a UD, just like against Castillo.

Further predictions:

Everyone will be outraged.
Then it will be forgotten in 6 months, just like every other outrage in boxing.

 

Khan's looked foolish against McCloskey, who wasn't even hitting him back. Anybody notice McCloskey's defensive game? Khan will only make Money look foolish if one of his powerful shots knocks him down. Khan's imprecise high work rate is far more likely to look foolish - he somehow managed to let Madaina back in their fight, when Madaina has the speed and agility of a tree sloth.

:blood I doubt that man. Khan's accuracy is awful and is defense is put your hands up and back away.
Khan's jab will cause a few problems for Floyd in the first few rounds, but Floyd will get that pull counter going by round 3 or 4. Khan throws his jab quick but is lazy bringing it back sometimes.

Once he gets reluctant to throw his jab, all he'll have is his flurries and Floyd will time the crap out of him

Pacquiao have very good chance of beating Floyd but Khan got hit by Maidana just imagine what Floyd would do to him, i think only chance is that Floyd will possibly "cherry pick" Khan only to maybe postpone Pac fight, which will happen at some point i believe.

although I don't necessarily agree, it's sad that Floyd has the reputation of a ducker.
