Back at 140 Khan called him out repeatedly and even offered a 50-50 split on english PPV when he was clearly a big draw and Bradley wasn't.

If thats not a duck I don't know what is.

Well I take it back. He might have been waiting on the Pacquiao fight and simply didn't want to jeopardize that fight by potentially losing to Khan. Which isn't a straight up duck in my opinion.

But however you slice it, he wasn't eager to fight Khan.

Khans been on the scene a bit longer and has failed to impress.

Porter hasnt been around as long and had 2 good wins and a close loss to Brook.

Porters got a long road ahead. Whereas Khan is literally one punch away from retirement and/or mediocrity

How is Floyd ducking him? Khan's only been in the mix for 1 year now and didn't deserve the fight yet. After the Canelo fight people talked so much **** about Khan being an opponent, now that they haven't fought, people say Floyd is ducking him :patsch

His style is troubling but I wouldn't call it a nightmare.

Hell no. I think he has a shot of taking Floyd's 0 but hes always gonna be vulnerable to power punchers and he won't be on top for long even if he does beat Mayweather.

He took the fight v Provo therefore he couldn't possibly have been scared of Khan's power. So the only other reason for ducking would be the risk/reward ratio. Again I think Provo had one of the worst risk/reward ratios in boxing so it strikes me as slightly unbelievable that Bradley would shy away from Khan for that reason. Listen I could be wrong but I think if they were fighting next week the bookies would price Bradley as a slight favourite, don't you?

    Khan hasn't done anything?

Didn't Khan floor Maidana and beat him? Didn't Maidana lose a shutout decision to Devon Alexander after that? Didn't Mayweather conduct a poll and ask fans who he should fight, and Khan won, so Mayweather chose Maidana?

Khan or Alexander would've been better opponents for Mayweather than Maidana was. Mayweather doesn't fight boxers younger than him. He just fights the same sluggers over and over again because they are all easy to hit.

"Work smarter not harder." That's what Floyd always says. A fast boxer would definitely be "harder" for Floyd. That's why he's fought so few of them in his entire career.

Provo basically made his name by beating the living day lights out of Bradley. Before that, he was fairly unknown. It was supposed to be a relatively easy come back fight for Bradley after the "win" over Pac.

Its not that Khans power was scary. Its that his style is all wrong for Bradley or at least thats how I see it.

As far as the odds go, maybe you're right but honestly who cares. They don't know much more than we do. They had Martinez as a 2 to 1 favorite over Cotto and we all saw how that went down.

I agree with what you said. Khan would pose some problems, especially when it comes to speed and movement. However, while Khan is extremely fast, he is also a bit wild and can be inaccurate, especially when compared to Floyd. Floyd has fought faster fighters before (Judah), plus Floyd's timing and accuracy would catch Khan coming in. Speed alone is not enough to beat Mayweather and Khan thinks he can outbox Floyd, he needs to stop dreaming. Problem, yes. Nightmare, no.

Failed to impress. Has won belts and millions in prize money.

2 good wins that Khan also has.

Close loss to Brook. He didn't win more than 4 rounds and I'm being generous. So Porter is good Khan is bad?

I'm not sure why you responded as it wasn't you that made the statements about Porter.

I don't know what your problem is with Khan. I'm not a fan of his but he's a decent boxer who is a top ten WW.

They did but that's because they (like most of us) were under the misapprehension that Sergio's leg had healed. Bradley could be 1/2 and I would still want a piece of the action if a fight ever went ahead. Bradley has an iron chin, is a fantastic athlete and is a good technical boxer. He isn't as powerful as Khan but I think that's the only attribute I'd give to Khan, he might be slightly faster I suppose.
