Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

I mean Floyd made severe adjustments from the first fight to the second, in the first fight he lay on the ropes too much and this allowed Maidana to get his punches off. In the second fight, Mayweather moved alot and Maidana had nothing to hit.

With Khan i dont think Floyd will have to make too many adjustments.

The questions will be

how long with it take Floyd to time Khans speed and how long can Khan keep up that pace?

If Floyd plays aggressor, will that play into Khans hands? Khan to me, will be looking to follow the same gameplan he did against Collazo. Getting in and out quickly and tying up when in danger.

He did Make that adjustment, but we've seen floyd on his bike before and personally think he was suprised by Maidans footwork in the first fight and got caught on the ropes and took lot of damage in the first 5 rounds, in the rematch he stayed fresher for longer because he avoided that damage.

In my opinion

how long with it take Floyd to time Khans speed - 3/4 Rounds
and
how long can Khan keep up that pace - 6-8 rounds

If Floyd plays aggressor, will that play into Khans hands? Depends if floyd fights aggresivley on the outside, yes it does, but he wont, he'll be going to khans inside and Floyd dominates there against khan

Khan to me, will be looking to follow the same gameplan he did against Collazo. Getting in and out quickly and tying up when in danger. - I also see him throwing few more jabs and doubling up on it, from chest to head, and less clinching as Floyd can fight in the clinch unlike khan

 

If Khan makes easy work of Alexander, Mayweather will duck Khan in May mark my words.

 

No because at this stage Mayweather career wont wanting to be facing the best version of Khan.

Even if Floyd thinks he can beat him, it wont let him look good, Floyd needs a good look fight after the 2 bad looking Maidana fights.

 

It's a joke that people think Khan would be competitive with Floyd.
