Still a **** fight, but more justifiable due to Khan having a belt. Let's be honest, Khan will beat Alexander because it's a good style matchup for him and Alexander is just not that good.

What Khan SHOULD do is beat Alexander and then fight Brook in the UK. If he wins that, then maybe have a look at Bradley or Broner. If he won that, then he'd be a great opponent for Mayweather even though Mayweather would kill the **** out of him.

Basically, Khan needs to fight a few times at welterweight on the world level before he gets a shot. Not that that'll stop Mayweather from giving him one, because Mayweather is kiiiiind of a *****.

  2. if khan beat alexander i wouldnt mind it as much

no way should khan get a fight against mayweather unless he beats a top ww

Wouldn't mind it at all if Mayweather beats Alvarez at 154. Mayweather wouldn't really have enough serious options at 147 after Alvarez so Khan is a reasonable fight especially if he beats Alexander.

Khan will never fight someone that sparked him. Peterson is a viable option because of the robbery but Garcia, hell no. I can't only see him fighting Garcia after he cashes out against Mayweather. After that there will be nothing to protect him for.

What do you see him offering?

Looks to me like another "punchers chance" match up. I'd rather see Mayweather against someone who can box rather than another slow come forward fighter who will spend the whole night missing.

I don't see Khan legitimizing himself before he fights Floyd. I don't see him beating Garcia in a rematch nor do I see him beating Matthyse, maybe Peterson since their first fight was close. Khan might win 1 or 2 fights but he will eventually lose facing top competition. He needs to get his payday and retire quick.

Yes. Khan does not deserve that pay day after doing the Bolton shake for several rounds against Diaz.

Thank you, even though I respect Floyd´s ability he will not be pressured into a 50/50 fight, not even a 70/30 fight for that matter. And it sucks, I want a superfight.

It wouldn't be a fight I'd really want to see, but if we got Mayweather vs Canelo at 154 in September, then I'd live with it

it's probably true, but The Sulaimans speak out of their asses, without all the knowledge of any given situation.

Canelo vs. Cotto will have huge buzz for what real boxing fans know is a mismatch at this time. I'll still support and root for Cotto, but as a long time fan I'll be a little sad to watch him take a loss just for a payday he shouldn't, and probably doesn't, need.

Mayweather fighting Khan will give me an opportunity to root for Floyd from start to finish. Compared to the arrogant Khan, Floyd will look like a mature, classy guy.

How can Khan fight in September when he has religious conflicts which would not allow for that?

It won't be Khan/Mayweather, unless Khan is in fact not a practicing... whatever he is.
