Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Very relevant topic or not, it needs to clog up the first page of the forum at a rate of 1:3?

As with the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao threads, 95% are troll threads to begin with and those that aren't degenerate into them quickly.

When there is an official announcement for either fight, that will be different. Until then, neither fantasy match is worth spamming up half a page or more of separate threads with.

I'm doing what I've been doing for a year now, and nobody had a problem with it until recently. (in either case, Mayweather vs. Pacquiao or Mayweather vs. Khan - and now that rumors for both are heating up it doesn't mean a thing until an official announcement for either...despite all the 'buzz' they're equally as much fantasy until then as they were a year ago, or two, or three or four years ago...)

Perhaps a better way of looking at it would be trolling and thread-making about these subjects is getting more and more out of control lately.

Unfortunately you can't extend poll life in vBulletin. I could make a new one to replace it, but all the old data from that extant poll would be lost. :verysad

 

So the 181 people who voted before, and may not see the new poll or realize they need to vote again? (or may not have changed their minds either way?)

c) boxing is a much larger sport than just the same 3 or 4 names that 99% of threads would be about if things were left alone. Real fans of boxing (not just adherents of particular big names) appreciate the clean-up, and I value their opinion far more than anyone upset about the merging.
