How would you feel if Floyd doesn't fight either Pac or Khan?

instead a Cotto rematch or D.Garcia?

Garcia I wouldn't have complained about around the time he beat Matthysse, but he lost a lot of shine in the Herrera fight, and fighting Salka was kind of pointless (but the KO was kind of awesome). Going back, Garcia has never really been a dominant fighter even though he always wins. I think if Garcia picks up a win or two against a top welterweight he should be back in the mix. But his main selling point was that he was the man at 140 coming up to fight the man at 147, which was totally legitimate until he kindasorta lost to Herrera and then took a gimme fight.

Cotto rematch won't happen right away due to the Alvarez vs. Cotto fight, which should be a massive PPV sell AND a really damn good fight. Both guys will make far more against each other than they would make fighting Floyd with his 94/6 splits (which is why it's bull**** when people talk about fighters wanting to cash in on a Floyd fight/lotteryjackpotbox or whatever they want to call getting bent over at the negotiating table these days).

I don't consider Ortiz a quick fighter, and Mosley at the time he fought Floyd wasn't that quick either.

You kind of have to be quicker than the average person to be a fighter, so those guys aren't slow, but they weren't known as speed fighters.

Judah was fast but Floyd figured him out and that it.

Speed alone doesn't win you fights..Floyd is fast himself, he will wait, time Khans incoming and figure him out after that.

One more thing, Khan keeps saying that Floyd can't hurt him...he's in for a rude awakening if he has that mindset going int oa fight with Floyd.

    Floyd has:

    Hurt Maidana to the body
Wobble Cotto (in the 12th round)
Wobble De La Hoya (in the 11th round)
    Dropped Marquez
    Dropped Hatton
    Dropped Ortiz
Cut up Robert Guerrero in the face and hurt him (in the 8th round0
Hurt Judah (in the 11th round)
Hurt Mosley (in the 8th round)
Hurt Alvarez (in the 4th round)

I have no idea why Khan think Floyd can't hurt him but he in for a shock if he fights Floyd with reckless abandon.

    How does he do that.
    No juice -- no punch.
    Pac is overrated.
Too bad that you cant see it.

Just because Khan beat Alexander doesn't mean hes going to beat Mayweather.

Read the whole post. Not remotely what I said.

I said speed might give Mayweather problems. It's at least a different look than he's used to. We've seen him deal with punchers and pressure fighters time and time again. And we saw him get dropped by the only truly fast fighter he's ever fought. It's not an outrageous suggestion that a fighter who is faster than Floyd might give him some trouble.

Only truly fast fighter? What about Victor Ortiz? What about Sharmba Mitchell? What about DeMarcus Corley?

Alexanders speed was always average, stop hyping him into something he never was.

i dont think ive ever come across any posts which talked about Alexanders blazing hand speed.

Khan has only fought two high profile guys who were fast Judah and Malignaggi.

Not exactly the murderers row is it

And if you're suggesting that Khan would have trouble with a fighter who was faster than him, I agree. It's just that such a fighter doesn't exist aside from MAYBE Pacquiao.

Let me help you. Imagine this is written on your favorite color of construction paper with your second-favorite color crayon:

    Khan is fast.

Khan relies on his speed to win fights.

If Khan ran into a faster fighter, he would be in serious trouble.

^The above scenario has not happened.

    Mayweather is fast.

Mayweather relies (partially) on his speed to win fights.

When Mayweather has fought opponents who were faster than him, he got into some problems.

^The above scenario has happened once.

Therefore, it is not inconceivable that Mayweather might have trouble with an opponent who is faster than him.

Both Pacquiao and Khan fit that description, so we are likely to have answers next year.

khan isn't a prime Judah first of all, Judah had power, Khan has **** all.

You think someone like Collazo would have stayed standing vs Judah if hed fought face first with his hands down?

khan aint dropping anything, if anyone gets dropped, its Khan.
