Mayweather v Khan is a global fight which would generate huge revenue streams across the globe. A Brook fight is massive only in the UK and big across parts of Europe. Vegas/MGM will put up a huge site fee and other comps to get the fight which would far outstrip the a Wembley deal. Khan is a major figure in the Middle East and they will throw mega money into the kitty through TV, sponsorship and advertising etc to be part of a unique mega event which this would be - the brash American champ v a Muslim Olympic silver medalist.
Khan will not be paid a peanuts guarantee to fight Floyd - he is not a Robert Guerreo in the market place - he is a high value fighter even in the US which is the reason up until the Devon fight that only he apart from Mayweather have their own Individual contract with Showtime - and he is expecting to sign another one by all accounts that shows his value to the Americans. He is also negotiating a new sky deal for over here which would put him in control of the revenues/negotiations created over here for a Mayweather PPV.

When it's all said and done I would be astonished if Khan takes home less then £15m- there is no way that the Brook fight will net him anywhere near more money then Mayweather

cbs allready offered pac 40m with 30 or 35% upside on an opening offer so floyds dreaming.

may 2 date has been floyds date for years the only reason its an issue is because bob arum wants to get one up on floyd thats all it is, if you cant see that then you are re****ed. yes floyd could infact be the bigger man and just bend to arums demands but we can agree on 2 things with regards to that

    1. floyds a full of himself ***** and has to appear like the alpha A side so he wont budge

    2. floyd really has a right not to budge because whatever issue with the mexicans bob arum churned up has allready been dismissed by the 2 mexicans in the equation (canelo and delahoya)

the date is the only issue holding this fight up (but if that falls through we both know SHOWTIME V HBO will be the next roadblock). why wont arum put up some demands of his own, right up a contract.. bring a counter offer or SOMETHING to the table instead of saying "yeh ill answer the phones" "nah we dont like that offer" "nah may 2nd no good"

arum already mentioned April or June as the better alternative date for the Pac-floyd fight. this is actually true because there is no need to move the Cotto-Canelo fight which is a great card itself and more sure than the still fantasy Pac-Floyd fight.

Now Floyd thinks May 2 is non-negotiable and would not fight in any other dates.

Only britt*rds want Khan/Brook. Brook doesn't deserve a fight with Khan. He has one win on his resume.

I'm a Pacquiao fan, I've never liked Khan, don't want to see Khan Floyd but the idea of seeing Brook end Khan's reign as England's top LWW WW seems oddly fitting and very appealing,so yeah I really want to see that fight.

showtime would be foolish to put floyd-khan/d garcia/thurman against canelo-cotto.

Not a bad fight, definitely better than Ortiz and Guerrero, and probably regarded as a bigger threat than maidana.

Who will pacquiao fight instead though? Hopefully not another Algieri or rios level opponent.

Morons, a very select few MORONS said that about May and Khan. Khan doesn't stand a chance against Mayweather, anyone fortunate enough to have more than two braincells knows that.
