HBO and SHOWTIME won't combine forces for Khan vs Pacquiao, they only will for Mayweather vs Pacquiao for obvious financial reasons.

Just like he did at 140 when he moved up, Khan is deceiving people by beating on name opponents with no power. The same exact nonsense that started when he fought Malignaggi is repeating itself here.

It's going to be Khan or Pacquiao. The Cotto rumors are false.

Speed is all he needs at this point. If Maidana can land at will...

Floyd wins. Khans fast but Mayweathers bloody smart. Khan will get through with his fast hands but Floyd will suss him out and counter with angles and win the rounds to a points victory. Though i wouldnt rule out a stoppage either.

But i just can see Khan winning at all.

1-4 could go anyway but Floyd gets his timing down and the rest are his. When Khan unleashes a fast flurry he walks straight forward throwing even when a fighter moves away. Most fighter don't have the skills of Floyd and he will time him and land. I see it going like Judah with Khan falling apart. Khan hasn't even really earned a shot and it seems like he knows it and won't fight the top guys because he might lose a shot. He should of fought Porter or even better Brook but instead he fights Alexander like really your going to fight an ex champ who lost to the guy that lost to the current belt holder. He is absolutely ridiculous....

Whats the point talking about this fight, Floyd wont fight a red hot Khan.. Khan has 2 good wins at 147 and now Floyd thinks he not known enough :patsch he was known enough fresh losing to Garcia and winning 2 tune up fights..

This is Khan's real weight class, Khan will be too much for Floyd at this stage of his career, its best for him to keep fighting these slow flat footed Latino fighters.. :tired

He's red hot alright. Isn't he and his fans only recently celebrating the newly adopted ability to hold on when hurt?

Ortiz, Guerrero, and Maidana are very different fighters.

Maidana is slow, but his angles are very deceptive. He's fast enough.

Even though Floyd has slowed, he still beats Khan to the punch, Floyd still dictates the fight. But if by some chance that Khan does start picking Floyd apart, then Mayweather will take the fight inside, I don't think Khan has the footwork to evade Floyd if that is the way the fight went, Floyd can cut off the ring very well if he wants to. Khan would then have to rely on the ref not letting them fight inside. In other words, Khan's only chance to win that fight would be if Vic Drakulich was to referee.

The only way Floyd KO's Khan is if he sits on his punches. With the speed Khan brings Floyd is less likely to sit on those punches. There is even a slight risk to Floyd that Khan could actually make him look shot if Khan can get off first. It's been a long time since Floyd fought a combination puncher. Would be an interesting fight.

This isn't the same Floyd that can throw a lead left hook and land it at will. He still deals with power punches better than any fighter in history, but I think Khans speed, timing, straight punches and combinations make Floyd work for the win.

I think Khan is right in what he says and I think he gives Mayweather problems and could be his biggest test but I wonder how much the occasion will become too much for Khan and he'll get tired and knocked out in the later rounds.

I'd love to see Khan win but my prediction would be Mayweather TKO in the 10th.

P.S. I'm new to the forums, looking forward to discussing with you all and trying to learn more about boxing!
