This was before my time so I don't know. Why should beating Curry be considered bigger/better than beating Floyd?

Does Curry rank higher than Floyd in most lists of the all time greats?

Curry at the time was **** hot. He was the golden boy of boxing and was a big talent. But in terms of the better boxer, then Floyd is the better. At WW, it's different but then Floyd's best weight isn't WW but around 130-140.

At the time a Honeyghan victory was thought so unlikely many of the bookmakers wouldn't even give odds.

It is not so much about ATG lists or rankings, more about impact.

Honeyghan's victory over Curry was a massive shock. At the time nobody in the media and few fans gave Honeyghan a chance in hell against Curry, who was at the time in his prime and powerful.

Whereas experts and fans give Khan at least a fighting chance at beating Mayweather based on his boxing skills and speed. Mayweather is also in the twilight of his career so a slip is almost inevitable and expected. It would still be a huge upset, but I don't think it would have the same shocking effect that the Honeyghan victory had.

'Kells gloves were too shiny and the light reflected straight into our eye which blinded us, which meant kell could land a lucky shot on us while we were temporarily disabled. Plus some bloke was wearing his cap wonky which didn't help'

How many world level fighters has Kell KO'd again? Any1 can rack up KOs against utter bums. I am not convinced by Kells power at all, he certainly hits nowhere near as hard as Garcia or Maidana.
