Not as great a victory as Honeyghan's against Curry, IMO. I scored it a comfortable win for Calzaghe, but there was controversy - it was a split decision, Calzaghe got floored and it was not a sensational, breathtaking against-all-the-odds victory like Honeyghan's. Bear in mind that Hopkins, despite in achievements after, was still an old man in boxing terms so well past his prime. In summary, a good away victory for Joe for sure, but not great.

If this were to happen whether home or away it would be the greatest ever victory by a Brit alongside Turpin's win over Robinson.

Turpin's win over Robinson was not abroad, it was a London. The thread is about away victories. Turpin lost in the rematch in the US.

You're talking about it as if he has already done it.

I dislike Brook but he can bang. He wobbled Porter a little bit who has a solid chin at world level.

I'd love to see Khan beat May just to see the reaction of people on this forum. I can see plenty slitting their wrists lol

Funny seeing fanboys and haters go into meltdown, but it does get rather silly on here sometimes. Very juvenile stuff.

Love boxing and not the boxer :thumbsup

Same with other boxers mate. This site has plenty of fanboys of many varieties and you don't get more than May or Pac. They spend the majority of their lives defending their idols. I fear for their safety once they retire.....

I know what you said cos I can read  but the thread is about GB fighters winning abroad, not at home. Turpin's victory over Robinson is therefore out of scope.

And it's a possibility. Khan and Pac are the only two that I see as having a chance to defeat Mayweather's defensive style. Still a big ask though.
