And lets say he has 1 week to recover from the 30 days of 18hr fasts, that leaves him 5 weeks to train as the last week is fight week..

    So its a tough call..

I kind of get it, even if he's just being a bit superstitious or worrying too much. Some boxers like to blame defeats on all sorts of things, like what they ate and whether it was full moon or some sh!t.

I think he's perhaps being a bit manipulative though, because he knows people take religion seriously.
And I'm pretty sure it's not a religious requirement at all. (He's a professional boxer, he's allowed to train and fight during Ramadan. Just as a muslim bus driver is allowed to drive a bus.)

So really he'd being a bit of a DIVA, and playing to his advantage the fact that people tend to tread respectfully around religion.

But it's his choice, he'll lose the payday.

See the issue with Khan is he is only a Muslim when it suits him. He is a fake. He commits haram all the time. He wore those trunks with the gold threads when gold is strictly forbidden from touching the skin. He cheats on his fiance is out drinking and partying etc. The guy is a Glass Jawed Fraud in the truest sense of the word.

Correct. Rest four weeks (until August 14th), then start camp with four weeks and one day until September 12th.

Khan's former trainer, Freddie Roach, is on record saying most boxers are good to go with 4-6 weeks of camp.

Strange thing is Darni I think Khan is completely undeserving but he may well have been offered September and has turned it down.

If he really wanted it he would find a way, maybe he saw Mayweather up close Saturday and thought better of it and hoping Mayweather gets a little older first.

I've seen quotes over the weekend with Khan saying "I THINK I know how to beat him"
Last month it was "I KNOW I can beat him"

No to Bradley, Brook, Pacquiao (according to Arum) and now seems to talking himself out of a Septemeber date with Mayweather. It's bizarre to me.

If he was very religious, I think he'd have faith in Ramadan making him stronger, not f**king him up for the next two months.

I mean, c'mon, Amir, have a bit of Imam (Faith).

    It's his loss.

Or just an open browser tab with Google up. None of that is clandestine information.

The word you're looking for is Iman, not imam. :patsch

I know its interesting, I think Khan was being a bit more respectful just after the fight because of the event and everything maybe I'm wrong..

Khan is sure about his chances with Floyd, and I really think if the fight really gets offered and Al Haymon says its your call I think Khan will take it, lets see..

Whatever happens Khan's fight after Algieri if he beats him, has to be a top 5 WW, meaning Bradley, Thurman, Brook, otherwise Khan just wasting his time, it has to be a big fight before this year is out..
