Have you even seen Khan's punch stats? Khan's punch accuracy is on par with, or even batter than, Mayweather. Khan's accuracy in his last fight against Alexander (43%) was higher than Mayweather's accuracy in his last fight against Pacquiao (34%). Not only does Khan have faster hand speed, but that's faster punches with pin-point accuracy. Also, Khan has good foot-work, capable of fighting on his back-foot and running circles around his opponents, and because of his age, he has a higher work rate than both Pacquiao and Mayweather. There's a very good chance of Khan out-pointing Floyd.

Khan demonstrated good counter-punching skills against Alexander, who is a very good counter-puncher himself.

Khan's last KO was 2 years and 4 fights ago. Mayweather's last legit KO was 8 years and 10 fights ago. Khan also has a higher overall KO% than Mayweather.

It's unlikely Floyd out-points Khan, who has faster hand speed, quicker jabs, taller height and higher work rate, along with comparably high punch accuracy and good foot-work from the back-foot.

That's the kind of triangle theory fallacy I'd expect from casual fans. Khan has only ever struggled against power punchers, which Floyd most certainly is not. There's fat chance of Floyd pulling off a KO against Khan, so it would come down to a pure boxing match between two technical boxers. Khan has never been outboxed before, and neither has Floyd. That's what makes it a very competitive fight. Styles make fights.

How many rounds would they win?

Khan can't outpoint Floyd. You can't win rounds just on workrate.

Khan can't beat Floyd in a pure boxing match. He's not as skilled as Floyd.

What combinations? Oh...my bad. The same ones Pac used, right? People still fail to realize, you can't throw all those combos with Floyd. Like he said, It's different when you're in the ring with him. Just ask Manny. Manny knows. (MIGHT make a nice t-shirt, don't you think)? :D

Does nothing to disprove that Mayweather would have no problems dealing with Khan's patter punches. Khan has no inside game and those fast hands don't do ****.

Khan has a higher work rate, combined with higher hand speed, faster jabs, and taller height, along with high punch accuracy, long reach, great control of range, and good ring IQ, counter-punching and foot-work from the back-foot. Khan brings plenty of attributes to the fight that would stylistically give Floyd major problems. There's a good chance Khan out-points Floyd, but the fight could go either way.

Khan would be troubling but i just think Floyd's amazing ability to adapt to anything imo means he takes control after 4 and wins on points in a good fight

No, I mean, what would the scorecards read?

Khan is an INCH TALLER than Floyd, AT MOST.

    Floyd has the longer reach.

What happens when Floyd times Khan?

He should fight Thurman if he's the best ever he's a way more credible opponent then Khan

But we all know how Floyd does it at the end of the day lol

    http://guardianlv.com/2015/05/mayweather-khan-up-next-then-pacman-despite-rant/

" . . .despite what his recent anti-Pacman rant might suggest, he has every intention of giving Pacquiao the rematch. While Mayweather is indeed miffed at PacquiaoÂ’s use of his injured rotator cuff as an excuse, going so far as to call Pac a coward, with the recent news that PPV sales could reach well over five million buys, his private feelings and rhetoric have changed considerably. In fact, his recent rant is seen by Team Mayweather and those that know him best as the beginning of the Mayweather-Pacquiao II promotional drive."

I think the second fight could be better in many different ways. One way specifically would be the promotion. They will most definitely promote this one more so than the last, and Mayweather may even come out of his shell and flamboyantly down-talk Pacquiao to build it up as high as possible. If that happens, then it could get really fun.

I'll be looking forward to going to Las Vegas early May 2016 to see my first Pacquiao fight and my first Mayweather fight. :happy

-Limond was 8 years ago and Prescott was 7 years ago, before Khan found Roach, so those old fights are irrelevant.
-Khan beat McCloskey by a wide decision.
-Peterson was abusing steroids, so that fight is irrelevant.
-Khan beats Garcia in a rematch by wide UD, and Garcia's dad knows it, hence why he doesn't want a Khan rematch.
-Diaz is a power-puncher who has KO'd many fighters. Either way, Khan beat him by UD.

Paulie and Collazo were world champions. Maidana is the guy who almost beat Mayweather. And Alexander was the guy who completely shut out Maidana, better than Mayweather did against him in both their fights.

Also, let's not forget that Khan has defeated 8 world champions, including Barrera, Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Maidana, Judah, Diaz, Collazo, and Alexander.

-Boxing experts like Ricky Hatton, Oscar De La Hoya, Paulie Malignaggi and Al Bernstein have all said Khan has a great chance of beating Floyd.
-The bookmakers have Khan down as the clear favourite against Brook. Most predict he will lose to Khan.
-Pac would stylistically be a tough fight for Khan, but given Pac's underwhelming recent performance, Khan has a good chance against him now.
-Bradley ducked Khan and even openly acknowledged he ducked him because he's worried about losing to Khan. There's no way feather-fisted Bradley beats Khan.
-Marquez is too old and past his prime. Highly unlikely he could beat Khan now.
-Thurman would stylistically be a tough fight for Khan, but the tactics he used to neutralize Collazo's power should work against Thurman.
-Porter lost to Brook, who in turn is predicted to lose to Khan by the bookmakers.

The Ring has Khan ranked as the #4 welterweight. And the fighter they have ranked at #2, Brook, is predicted to lose to Khan by the bookmakers.

Too late. Khan is already ranked by The Ring as one of the top 4 in the welterweight division.
