Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Khan has no chance at all. He is very unaware of what is coming at him, he can be time easily. He is very open to the over hand right, and the left hook.

Regardless, this will be an exciting fight and could be a win KO for Mayweather, this is just what he needs. Mayweather's stock has actually fallen after beating Pacquiao in a boring fight.

 

Good for brit fans. Even if he loses.

 

Khan can't outbox Floyd. The idea that he could is frankly, absurd.

 

Timing kills speed.

 

It's a joke that people think Khan can outbox Floyd.

 

Not even a joke, it's ridiculous. Consider this, with as much speed as Khan has, why are so many people able to trap him, force him on the backfoot, make him fight their fight, time him, hit him, hurt him, KO him? Because he has nothing but speed on an elite level. He has a very leaky defense, no variety of punches, horrible footwork, and subpar chin. This does not equate "elite boxer". The fact that boxers that are far less than Floyd were able to have their way with Khan makes the remark Khan poses issues to Floyd as ignorant a statement as you can make regarding boxing.

Floyd would have Khan figured out by the end of the 2nd round.

 

Especially when the guy with timing on his side is faster anyway and better at literally everything to do with boxing...even at 38

Khan would be the worst Floyd's opponent since Ortiz. Nobody wants this fight. Sometimes I think that it might be Amir himself posting all those threads to make impression that there is public demand for this fight. May vs. Khan is a ****ty fight. Move on.

thurman, brook, garcia, bradley>>>>>>>>>>>khan. khan did not even rematch his loses and he lost and ran from algeiri. they can make the fight but it won't sell. floyd is not really a saleable fighter without the mexican date, mexican fighters, or a legit opponent like pac, ggg, or thurman. who would buy a khan fight after seeing his last fight? then floyd, garcia, thurman, and khan are all under al haymon so they just make exhibition fights like real.

 

But it will shadow the day of joy when you retire from this forum.
