Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

Chris turned out to be a real challenge:deal it just shows hes not on Floyds level..

 

Really right now there is no reason for him not to fight him...

so if he doesn't he is probably worried about the style matchup. Floyd is smart...

Cotto is probably the only opponent above Khan right now

When Mayweather retires having not fought Khan the fallout will dog him forever!
His legacy will carry the stain of having ducked a fighter who had the speed and style to defeat him and the accusations of cowardice will always follow him.

I would have thought that Khan could beat an old Mayweather too before I saw his poor showing against Algieri. Now, not so much.

 

I mean how can one actually think Khan would win? Khan has showed over and over his liability to get caught with left hooks and right hands. That's a horrible circumstance against a guy who has precision, timing, and best counterpunching skills in the game. That doesn't include Floyd's decent power and Khan's glass chin. It's just all downhill for Khan from the start. He's not ready and never will be ready.

Put it this way, Garcia, Peterson and Algieri managed to nullify Khan after a few rounds enough to build their cases, who is the guy with the greatest judgement of timing for the last 15 or so years? Mayweather. Timing beats speed everyday of the week and I don't think Khan can successfully outwork Mayweather at all.
