That's an amazingly stupid reason.

I don't think too highly of Khan at all, I give him a very slim shot at beating Mayweather, who is miles ahead of Khan skill and ring IQ wise, but this reasoning is dumb.

Mayweather claimed that he fought Hatton and Marquez because they "called him out", and gullible boxing fans actually believe that ****, because they somehow think that multi-million dollar fights are made over words and not contracts and lawyers.

Big name fighters tend to conveniently care when certain people "call them out" and not care the other times.

Maidana lost two decisions that could have gone either way. Ortiz, Ill give you, but he only had one loss not THREE. Khan was knocked out twice, and BTW, Berto was undefeated when Ortiz beat him, and was a huge prospect, unlike Collazo and Algeri.

He said "at the time", meaning nobody knew what Berto would go on to achieve back then. So Ortiz beating him was a big deal, they only turned out to be duds in hindsight. :verysad

IMO, definitely Khan, he's wasting his prime away sitting on his butt, fighting underwhelming opponents and thinks he's going to get that fight

Thurman/Brook/Bradley were all available, but he fought Collazo/Alexander (Too late) and then Algieri.

 

Well, let's see:

Khan didn't look good against ancient Julio Diaz, didn't fight Alexander back when he had the IBF strap, fought old Collazo, and didn't impress against Algieri.
