The only person on Planet Earth who doesn't know this is Khan.

To this day, Prescott would likely best Khan.

But it's not because he's a better fighter, but because he's a huge puncher with an unrelenting pressure attack.

He'd stop anyone who doesn't have an iron chin or the stamina to outlast him.

    Good post.

Whoever thinks Danny is still that young hungry fighter is in denial.

Danny hit the lottery that night.

Garcia doesn't need to be some "young hungry" fighter putting on some brilliant performance to beat Khan.

He simply looked to get the timing down on his left hook, as he often does. He timed a guy in Khan who has porous defense and a shaky chin.

It was not exactly Barkley-Hearns 1 where the guy had to walk through hell to score an early come-from-behind win.

You can call out the big names as much as you want. Boxing fans have seen how much **** happens during negotiations and how much greed, ego, politics, etc....take place in the making of a fight, yet so-called "hardcore fans" still seem to think that fights are made in front of a camera and microphone and not with contracts and lawyers.

Khan's been vocal about wanting a Floyd fight to the point where he seems obsessed. It doesn't matter. For whatever reason, Mayweather has chosen other opponents.

The only disappointment in not seeing Mayweather-Khan is not being able to laugh afterwards at all this "Khan will give Floyd hell, he is the future" comments.

A pet peeve of mine is boxers getting overrated skill-wise because they are fast and other fighters getting underrated skill-wise because they don't have this speed. Khan is the prime example. Other than that, I don't care. It's a mismatch, even for a guy close to 40, because Mayweather is THAT much better than Khan.

Based on how bad Gift has looked lately i'd say Khan has a real shot... Chin or not Khan is definitely more skilled than Gift, sure he could definitely get blasted out while ahead on the cards but i'd say he has a real shot here.

I have no idea how people think Khan is some master boxer who's impossible to outbox.

The Algieri fight showed that he has the same flaws he's always had. He has no inside game, doesn't look comfortable on the back foot, has poor defense, and is predictable. He also tends to lunge, and leaves himself WIDE open with his combinations. Floyd would embarrass him and make him look like an amateur.

Has nothing to do with hunger. Danny is still a slow footed plodder that punches with you and Amir is still the same exact fighter. Amir will win the first few rounds on activity then get drawn into a fight, like he does against everyone that puts pressure on and get stopped.

Khan-****s remind me of those delusional Tyson fans who would say "if only Tyson would reunite with Kevin Rooney, he would take over again!" Keep in mind they would say this in like 2003.

"If only Khan could fight disciplined, if only he could do this, etc...". Then he wouldn't be Amir Khan.

But at least at one point, Tyson was a special fighter who ran thru the division in dominant fashion.

Khan has done pretty well for himself when you look back at the Prescott massacre. Some skeptics were writing him off for good back then. If you look at how he rebounded, it's a pretty respectable comeback from that low point. Sure he's been carefully guided at times, especially with keeping him from punchers, but he has faced some heavy handed guys too.

That's something to be happy about if you're a Khan fan, but he's just never gonna be this elite p4p fighter that people for some reason thought/think he will be. He proves time and time again how technically flawed he is, how devoid he is of ring smarts, how many mistakes he constantly makes which leaves him open, his lacking something in ring instincts/comfort....I don't know how many times he has to show it, some of his fans are just so delusional or don't understand some simple aspects about boxing.

As long as I've been on boxing forums, about 15 years, I've heard so many things for delusional fans, but most of those were at least from great fighters, or guys who used to be great. I don't remember anyone as bad (relatively speaking) as Khan who had so many fans delusional about his abilities.

    Lol

Its funny guys just think Floyd would easily outbox Khan, I mean name a fighter who gave Khan range and outboxed Khan? No one even came close.. Apart from pressure fighters Khan has his way..

Let me ask the Mayweather fan boys,

    Is he a pressure fighter?

Does he walk fighters down and willing to take shots to land his own?

Does he have high KO power?

    Is he faster than Khan?

Answer is NO to all them, so then he falls into just another boxer, well guess what Khan will be in this fight 50/50 because if this fight happens it's going the distance, and believe me Khan the only fighter who is capable of beating Mayweather on points..

    Talk rubbish all you want...

He doesn't need high KO power to beat Khan.

And Floyd has walked fighters down.

    Floyd will just time Khan.
