Would you want to see those two fight? I think it would be an interesting fight between two icons of the sport. Bernard will be 50 next year and is still boxing. The dude has great technique and etc. Even though Floyd would win it would be a great fight and hype. So, DISCUSS people on what you could see happening IF they fought.

Its a fight where neither guy would get any credit, so why bother??

Lets say they fought at 160.

If Floyd won, people would say he beat a drained, near 50 year old guy.

If Hopkins won, people would say he beat a guy he was naturally 30+lbs heavier than, and 5 inches taller than.

so what? it never stops all these dickriders bringing up Floyd in threads that couldnt be further from having anything to do with him. some one could make a thread about the old episodes of Two and a half men, and some how they woild bring up floyd in it. this board is f*ckin terrible now.

Floyd can't fight outside of the 158 range and BHOP is too old to drop back down to MW without causing serious problems.
I would have liked to have seen it if BHOP was still 40 to 42 years old.

    BHOP would school the youngster.

One icon is for taking all the challenges and the other one is for ducking all the challenges.

hopkins will never lose to a fighter the size of mayweather, anyone entertaining the thought of this fight or a mayweather win doesn't know anything about boxing.

Yeah, that's what I want to see as a boxing fan. A pair of old fighters duking it out with 90 years between them. A giant fighting a dwarf. Why not just bring Michael Spinks and Ray Leonard out of retirement for the under card? Why don't we throw Shaq in there to ref? Simon Cowell and the bearded lady can judge.

A **** fight. Boring with 10 headbutts and elbows per round. Fight ends in a draw with a rematch that takes place 5 months later.

Ah yes, a forum favourite - the fantasy fight. Ali vs Tyson. Calzaghe vs Ward. Robinson vs Leonard. Pacquiao vs Bruce Lee. A concept where a dream fight is created and the winner debated. Here we have Mayweather vs Hopkins. A WW vs a LHW. Anything north of 160 and Hopkins old-mans Mayweather, even at his advanced age. Too big. Too experienced. Too elite.

Are you really Leonard Ellerbee? You must be to say that. Floyd would get embarrassed by a master. But it would never happen Floyd cherry picks:lol::good
